Perfection. And I have never given a 10/10 I was skeptical of the 10/10 reviews. But my stay really was perfect. I felt like a VIP the entire stay. The staff was attentive. The head butler and sommelier was excellent and knowledgeable, I learned so much during our wine tasting. The neighbourhood is straight out of a movie. Perfect street lined vineyards and villas. I wish I could recall names of the staff but I went 3 weeks ago and now names have slipped me. How could I forget the food ! The absolute best meals I had in Italy, and we were also in Milan and Rome on our trip. In summary, great wine, spacious room, great food, superior service, stately accommodations. A perfect Tuscan Villa!

Dream vacation Villa le Calvane is an excellent place to spend a vacation. It has a wonderful location with beautiful views. Service was excellent. We loved this boutique hotel! I still dream about their breakfasts. However, I wasn’t crazy about their dinner menu. I can’t wait to go back there. I already recommended this place to my friends who are planning to go to Tuscany.

Absolute Perfection! 'Exceptional' really is the right word for this hotel. The team feel more like a family than just colleagues and everyone is so welcoming and friendly! There's passion, enthusiasm and love put into everything they do, as best demonstrated in the superb food and drinks. The setting is nothing short of paradise and the wine tasting we booked with Mirko the sommelier and restaurant manager was the best we've done anywhere in the world! One night just wasn't enough...!

The Best Hotel in Tuscany Really amazing boutique experience in the middle of Tuscany. Amazing service, food, and close to wine.

Service needs serious improvement This is not a true 5-star hotel. The price we paid was extremely far beyond the actual standard and quality of the hotel as well as the service received. Our room had a broken toilet; it did not flush and would just continue running water endlessly. We were expected to deal with having a plumber in our bathroom for 4 hours who, by 11:45pm, still had not fixed the toilet. Our original room started to smell like sewage, we still had not been able to use the bathroom, and we were not able to go to sleep. It was only after hours of unhelpful exchanges that the night manager’s only attempt at offering a solution was moving us to a significantly smaller room that was downstairs and out in the garden. He also falsely repeated multiple times before that there were no other rooms available. We eventually had to pack up and move all of our suitcases at midnight. This room was nothing like the one we booked and zero compensation was provided. Standard customer service, let alone a “5-star hotel” should be going above and beyond to make up for such an inconvenient problem. We are talking about a hefty 750€ per night per room here, and they offered nothing. All they said was “Sorry, even with our regular maintenance these things can happen.” Ultimately, the rest of the stay was negatively impacted by this and we can only rightfully be upset that we spent an exorbitant amount of money on what was supposed to be a luxurious and relaxing stay which turned into nothing but unenjoyable.

One of the finest hospitality experiences I have ever had. The property is unbelievably beautiful. We were in a two bedroom suite, each bedroom with its own bath. The space was incredible. During our four night stay we elected to have dinner at the property three times; it was that good. Most significant to our experience were the outstanding staff and the serene environment. The staff could not have been more attentive. They assisted us with restaurant and activity reservations. On property they were there whenever we needed them. With only 15 rooms, you could feel like you were staying in your own private mansion. Views of the Tuscan countryside are everywhere and stunning. Ta truly unforgettable experience.
