The hotel is old and feels very similar to Italy. The sun is fading. The room is quite large. The breakfast is very simple. The view is nice. The building, which dates back to the 1980s and 1990s, is definitely not worthy of a four-star rating. The room is small, with a very narrow bathroom, especially with the shower right next to the toilet. The mini-fridge is completely empty. Among other things, the walls are very thin, and you can hear every kind of noise. It's close to the sea, but that's not enough to justify a price that isn't worth what you get. Breakfast was also disappointing: I might be criticized for arriving at 9:50 (it closes at 10), but that doesn't justify the sense of abandonment I felt, without a croissant and with a watered-down orange juice that I unfortunately couldn't finish. I'm particularly critical, it's true, but I did notice another flaw: before leaving, I went to the bathroom on the first floor. There was a complete lack of soap.

We recently stayed at Hotel Palme for 5 days and we enjoyed our stay immensely. All the staff were really friendly, welcoming and so helpful. Alessia in particular gave us great advice with regard to hikes and boat trips and navigating our holiday around train strikes, while Emma made sure we had everything we needed . Location was perfect, just a few minutes from the beach and main ***** , just 5 mins level walk from train station, yet far away enough for peace and quiet Rooms were spotless and serviced daily, breakfast buffet offered fresh food and great variety to cater for many tastes. Fantastic service all round. We would highly recommend Hotel Palme for anyone thinking of going to Monterosso al Mare/Cinque Terre National Park.

Wir waren schon ein paar Mal da und kommen gerne wieder. Hotel bietet eine familiäre Atmosphäre, liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße nur wenige Meter vom Strand entfernt. Gutes Frühstück (für italienische Verhältnisse überaus üppig!) Sehr sauber, kleine Zimmer, aber alles drin, was man braucht. Diesmal hatten wir sogar einen schönen, großen Balkon. Vor dem Hotel ein sehr schöner, gepflegter Aussenbereich (mit riesigen Palmen), wo man auch essen kann. Personal ist sehr freundlich, also rundum perfekt.
