This is the most amazing, tranquil, romantic property. To think that he bought it and renovated the whole place. The views are breathtaking. For sure have dinner at the property's restaurant. Fixed menu but all the vegetables and herbs are right out of his garden.

Skønt, roligt hotel i smukke omgivelser
Super dejligt hotel. Smukke gamle bygninger, dejlig have, meget roligt med få værelser og rigtig dejligt, at der ikke er børn på hotellet.
Maden smagte dejligt. Eneste lille minus er de forholdsvis høje priser på minibar og frokostserveringer samt betaling for æg og juice til morgenmad - på mange lignende steder i samme prisklasse er det medregnet i værelsesprisen.
Klar anbefaling til et par dages total ro i Toscana!

900 year old gem!
What an amazing find...we stayed one night as we were working our way through Tuscany and the only disappointment was that we didn't stay longer.
Rosaria and the team were welcoming and friendly, sharing their recommendations, and providing us with 5-star service.
We enjoyed a refreshing time at the pool, taking in beautiful views of the valley and castles across the way, before we enjoyed the 4 course dinner, which they kindly provided vegetarian alternatives for two of us.
It was truly superb and I can't wait for the opportunity to return!

Prenotazione per un relais 5 stelle dove ci aspettavamo di trovare il massimo del lusso e delle comodità, invece camera con arredamento non antico ma vecchio e soprattutto non era nemmeno una camera, ma un appartamento male arredato e senza nessun comfort. La tecnologia inesistente a partire dalla mancanza addirittura del televisore. la scusa che chi alloggia in struttura viene per avere pace, non funziona, perchè basta tenere la tv spenta se non interessa. Poi viene indicata come posizione Monteriggioni, ma non è possibile raggiungere il paese se non con un mezzo, visto che si trova a 20minuti di dstanza. Sconsigliato se si cerca la qualità ed il lusso del soggiorno che una struttura cosi pubblicizzata dovrebbe avere.

Veronica’s apartment was perfect for us this last week in Rome. There is plenty of space, good AC (which is necessary this time of year), and everything else the three of us needed. It would be great for two couples or a family of 4.
Veronica was responsive and we were met at a convenient time for us with a smile, a bowl of fresh fruit and many recommendations on dining and the area.
The location was very good for us, which is close to Spanish Steps and Borghese Gardens, with Trevi, Pantheon and other sites a short walk away. Plenty of dining and shopping are available in the neighborhood which was quiet and pleasant.
We would stay here again.

Beautiful old estate out in the sticks, a 20 minute drive to Siena, not ten as some will say. There is about a kilometer of gravel road as you near the house, but otherwise the roads back to town are very good. There is also a nice supermarket as you come into the outskirts of Siena. The hotel setting is just gorgeous. The pic of the little seating area with the hillside in front of you is a place where you could just sit all day and sip your wine or coffee while enjoying the view. The pool is up the hill so it has the best views of Siena and the hillside. The breakfast was minimal, but the cappuccinos were excellent. We eat dinner early, so we did not have dinner there, but it looked and smelled great when we walked by the dining area. The chef was very helpful in getting us more firewood one night, even though that was not his job. Yes, we had a fireplace in our unit and we lit it all three nights we were there. We sat on the couch in front of the fire and read and watched TV, very cozy. I do have one complaint about the TV... It was all in Italian, even the American movies. lol. The bed was comfortable. I read some complaints about the WiFi. It worked fine for us. The spa looked great. There was a giant hot tub and a massage area. The price to use the spa was 150 euros for 2 hours. Sadly, I am a bit of a cheap ba$+@rd, so we did not try it out. My wife and I agreed that this was the favorite place we stayed on our two week trip. Would absolutely stay there again.
