You must add this hidden gem to your list of places to stay!!! Hidden along rows of olive trees you find this beautiful property. The views are breathtaking. The serenity fills you up. Visiting in the spring must be even more relaxing smelling their lavender fields. The warm welcome and customer service from the owners and staff are top notch. Cooking class, wine, honey, massages 100% satisfaction. Highly recommend visiting for a few days of relaxation.

We enjoyed our stay and are thankful for the hospitality and attention to details by the host and all the staff . The breakfast was a plus , thanks to the beautiful setting (by the garden) and Carlota that lovely prepared it every morning. We didn’t get to try the pool because of the time of the year but it’s a new and gorgeous infinity pool overlooking the beautiful Montepulciano hills .

Fiquei encantada com o lugar e a recepção. Fomos recebido pelo Sr Rafaelle que nos apresentou todo o hotel e nos levou até o nosso quarto. O Quarto era lindo, o banheiro super limpo e tinha um chuveiro maravilhoso. O café da manhã estava delicioso, o lugar tem uma vista incrível.

This is a beautiful place to stay. We loved the room, the bed was the most comfortable we had in all of our 5 places we stayed. Book directly to receive the free breakfast. Very good food and amazing views. We did not use the pool because of the time of year but it was pretty to sit by. Raffaele booked two of our dinners for us. While both were good we loved Il Teatro the most. If you want to do the wine tour at Di Ricci, which I highly recommend, book yourself for a less expensive price than through the host. I highly recommend the wellness spa and the cooking class.

A Hidden Gem in Montepulciano - Agriturismo Merrige We absolutely loved our stay at Agriturismo Merrige, a true hidden gem in Montepulciano. The warm hospitality from the owners, Raffaele and Tiziana, along with their incredibly friendly team, made us feel right at home. Special mention to Masterchef Carlotta, whose culinary skills made every meal a delight. The spa is another highlight—highly recommend a relaxing massage by Yonara, it was just what we needed! The peaceful atmosphere, stunning location, and overall experience were nothing short of amazing. We can’t wait to return!
