Fisherman's Inn Hotel

Nice little hotel located directly on the Luminous Lagoon. We (a couple) stayed at Fisherman's Inn Hotel for two nights and were completely thrilled! The room was large and very clean and had a terrace right on the water with a view of the jetty, the pool and the Luminous Lagoon. It was very nice and relaxing to sit there and the view was magnificent. The owner was very friendly and helpful and to our surprise even a complimentary breakfast was included. We would definitely stay there again!

We stayed here for 3 nights after a 4 day all inclusive. Not a fancy place but very quiet. Beds are a bit hard and they could use some more pillows. It was what we needed to really relax. The little patio was so lovely. They delivered all meals and drinks to our patio. Breakfast was good. Orange juice was amazing!. The little bar was not staffed very well and it took 10 minutes to get a drink. The place was clean but could use some updating , a bit of deep cleaning, and some painting. There were no bedside lamps so it was tough to read. Actually only one light in the room. Could use a couple of luggage racks in each room. Bathroom was very basic. More hooks and towel racks would be good. The people were soo very nice. We paid 125.00 per night. The food was reasonable and made to order. The hotel is situated on a cove with great views. We watched the cruise ships dock from our patio. It is also right on the Glistening Waters!! That was a fabulous experience!! You need to do it if you are anywhere near here!! We hired a driver to take us to Dunn RIver Falls and into Falmouth. and back to the airport. Reasonable and much wiser than attempting to drive on the left side! Great stay for a day or two!!

The hotel is OK, We've got room on the second floor - the better idea is the first floor, where have an access to the lagoon. The pool is nice. The parking lot spacious enough. Price is reasonable, thou after made a tour all over Jamaica, I've got much better accommodation for the same price. I rated restaurant separately, although is the same business. I would recommend hotel, but I wouldn't order food in that restaurant. There is a question about lounge or bar. Yes, I saw the space set as a bar, but I didn't see it working.

We stumbled on this place by accident and were delighted with our find. We had visited a couple of resorts in Discover Bay - they cost $100 - $150 per couple per night, whereas the Fisherman's Inn was (a very reasonable) $50. The room was clean and functional, with a fairly spacious verandah overlooking the lagoon. The staff were very welcoming, pleasant and discrete (they were there, you just had to know where to find them!) The food was prepared freshly, to our specification and brought to our room at no additional cost. Wifi is available throughout the building, it just doesn't stretch as far as the rooms themselves (I could get a signal outside the door to the room but not inside)! We used the hotel's tour to take us out into the lagoon (Glistening Waters) one night so we could experience swimming in the luminous water. We later found out we paid a lot less than the tour run from the Glistening Waters hotel next door. The Green Grotto caves and river rafting are nearby, as is a 24 hour garage and shop. I would recommend the Fisherman's Inn to anyone wanting time away from the all inclusive resorts and the hubbub of Montego Bay, but wouldn't recommend it for children or for the duration of your whole holiday (my advice is get out there and see the whole island .... we did!) Thanks again to the Fisherman's Inn and its staff for a fabulous few days and everlasting memories of Jamaica ... we will certainly come here again!

very nice and clean rooms, as close to the ocean as you get! Luminous Lagoon tours are offered right at your doorstep. The staff is super friendly and will help you with anything you need! Craig was extremely helpful and made the stay especially nice! Dankeschön! For all the catlovers out there - a super cute cat lives on the property as well :)

My boyfriend proposed and the hotel staff participated in the surprise!! It was lovely. The room was clean with a beautiful view. We enjoyed eating breakfast outside our room deck and the atmosphere was breathtaking. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The decor was fantastic for photos!!
