Just back from Montecatini. This hotel is a bit tired and I was surprised to find that we couldn't use irons due to the age of the building. They also have 3 pin plugs but small 2 pins work as well. Breakfast was good. My room had a balcony with a lovely view and was serviced daily. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating and drinks were reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English.

Just returned from a wonderful holiday In Montecatini Terme in the heart of Tuscany. Hotel Biondi was a very traditional hotel with good seating areas both inside and out and a smart dining room. Both my bedroom and my friends were perfectly adequate though a little tired looking but it was clean and comfortable and serviced daily. Buffet style breakfast was fairly good and we had 4 course dinner with table service every night and food was very good. The hotel has a covered swimming pool with large seating areas which was a fantastic retreat on a hot day and fairly quiet. Bar prices were very reasonable for a hotel.

Ganz schlechtes hotel, unsaubere Zimmer, kakalaken im Bad, 9 uhr bereits kein Rührei und brötchen mehr obwohl es bis 10 Uhr Frühstück gibt, 2 mini Fahrstühle für 6 etagen, wenig kostenlose Parkplätze, im gesamten hotel und poolbereich blättert die Farbe ab u d die Wände und Böden haben Risse

Having read the reviews we went with an open mind unfortunately to discover that most of them were correct. Room (444) was dated with cracked tiles on bathroom floor and shower compact to say the least. Cleaning not great and air conditioning was controlled by the hotel which wasn't great in a heatwave. Food was ok in the evening but the breakfast offering was poor. Apart from some younger members of staff in the dining room the rest of the staff were surly and unhelpful. As we were out on organised trips for the week we spent minimum time in the hotel but Newmarket Holidays need to review their hotels.

L’albergo e idealmente pulito e accogliente. Anche il personale ha manifestato gentilezza e disponibilità. Abbiamo cenato per tre sere consecutive e il cibo è veramente buono. Ottima colazione a buffet

Stayed at this hotel and were allocated a twin room 308, which is at the front of the hotel with a balcony and chair. It was a very nice room although a little tired but the aircon worked well. We did have trouble initially finding any UK channels on the tv (BBC News is on 74). The bathroom had a bath with shower tap on the wall. Our cleaner was fantastic, thank you D. The food options were different but varied each day. Reception staff tried to assist with all queries. The swimming pool was brilliant, so lovely and cool. Note that there are a lot of nationalities staying here, so they are trying to cater for all. We ultimately enjoyed staying, but settling the hotel tax and bar bill at the end was not so much fun. Lol.

It was a cute room but the AC didn't work, which made it extremely warm in the room. Additionally, the bathroom door didn't lock and the shower was small and didn't have space inside to hold toiletries.

this a is a 4-star hotel but they only allow you to have aircon after 2.30 pm and it goes off around midnight. its 30 degrees and hot. the food we had was below average. soggy pizza and lasagne. no identifiable vegetables at all - just a souflle type thing which we often didn't recognise. We had to buy water for our meals (3e per bottle). other guests who might have paid more were getting better food - ie a whole pizza rather than 2 soggy squares. Coffee at breakfast was below average and often not hot. Guests were pushing people out of the way to get pastries. My bathroom soap and shower gel were not replenished and the hand towels were large napkins and not towels. i was very disappointed in this 4 star hotel and it needs to be re assesed .
