Super location and nice rooms. Unfortunately a lot of coach parties arrived during and stay so it was super busy. I actually caught covid from one of the party who coughed all over me :((
Also when I asked for a towel for poolside I was rudely spoken to. Breakfast nothing special and breakfast room too busy
Would stay again but choose my time

Nous étions venus il y a quelques années et avions adoré cet hôtel, c’est pourquoi nous avons décidé d’y revenir… mais malheureusement, nous sommes très déçus cette fois-ci. Le spa est fermé sans aucune information préalable, et des travaux commencent dès le matin, ce qui empêche de se reposer. Le Wi-Fi ne fonctionne pas dans la chambre. La climatisation ne marche pas non plus, ce qui est très inconfortable surtout en plein été. Le parking, censé être gratuit et à l’intérieur, est en réalité payant et situé à l’extérieur, près de maisons privées. Le personnel est loin d’être accueillant ou professionnel : manque de respect, aucune politesse. La nourriture n’est pas fraîche, très chère, et le petit-déjeuner est identique tous les jours, sans aucune variation. La piscine est bondée en permanence, impossible de trouver une place pour se détendre. En plus de cela, l’hôtel organise des fêtes pour des personnes extérieures, ce qui donne l’impression que les clients ne sont pas les bienvenus dans leur propre lieu de séjour. Une énorme déception, surtout par rapport à notre souvenir positif d’avant. Nous ne reviendrons pas.

We stayed at Grand Hotel Croce di Malta, 6th - 13th June. Holiday was booked through Topflight. From beginning to end, the Holiday was fantastic. Our room was large, with 2 bathrooms, kept very clean by hotel cleaners. Every member of the team, that we came across, was very pleasant and helpful. We'd like to name one member in particular, who was extremely helpful, Lucie at reception. There was a great variety of food every morning at breakfast. We ate a couple of times at lunchtime and dinner. The evening dinner menu changed daily and was on display at reception. This allowed people to either eat at the hotel, or dine out. Anything we ate at the hotel, was beautiful and service was perfect. Hotel is central to everything Montecatini terme has to offer.

ON A PACKAGE WITH TOPFLIGHT JUNE 6 to 13th. 2025. Room was ok, after I requested a change. Catering and food was a major disappointment. Due to the lack of suitable restaurents (other than Pizza) locally I had dinner on two evenings. The first a burger was bog standard ordinary, no garnish ortoken salad etc other than a few measly fries, canteen food. I was refused a glass of-water (had to buy a bottle) although I did have wine. The following evening I ordered lamb chops. Came with “Greek style potatoes”. What arrived was, a few tiny tiny overcooked chops and a few soggy potato pieces in a pool of grease/ oil. Complaints were ignored. On check out a paltry 10 euro was deducted from bill. Breakfast was included. Emulsified Lumps of scrambled eggs, some cold meats and cheese. If you weren't into that tough. SAME EVERY DAY. THIS WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING. SERVICE WAS ALSO VERY LIMITED THROUGHOUT THE DAY. IF YOU WERE SPENDING TH3 DAY AT THE POOL NO FOOD EXCEPT FOR AN HOUR AT LUNCH AND AFTER 730 IN EVENING. ROOM VERY WONKY. SUPPOSED TO BE SKY AVAILABLE BUT COULDNT FIND IT. A FEW ENGLISH CHANNELS EG CNN. WORLD. ONE STAR AT BEST-WITH FLAWS. MOST STAFF VERY HELPFUL BUT SHRUGGED SHOULDERS UNABL3 TO HELP WITH-FOOD ETC.
