EXCEPTIONAL HOSPITALITY... This family-run, traditional Victorian mansion inn is perfectly situated right on the Ottawa River with river views from the rooms. It is just a few minutes walk from several gourmet restaurants in the Montebello village. The couple who run the inn are extremely friendly and resourceful. They provide a light breakfast, with the option of home-made waffles.

We didn't even get the chance to go. My wife was booked for a medical procedure that was cancelled at the last minute. We had booked a room because going all the way back home in the car would be too hard for her so I thought this would be a good option. Her procedure was pushed back and so I called to see if we could push back our stay to match with her new procedure date and I was told that no changes were allowed because in was under 48h of our stay. I wasn't asking for a refund but just to push back our night to match her new procedure date and was told: "You stay or you don't stay it doesn't matter, we charge you for the night. You can book another night for next time". If that's the customer service you get before you even get there, there is no chance I would ever actually stay there or recommend this place to anyone.
