I truly enjoyed my stay at the Highland Dell. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the accommodations were exactly what we were looking for. This historic lodge is a hidden gem, beautifully nestled among trees and surrounded by natural beauty. No matter where I stood, I was treated to a unique view of either the forest or the river. The on-site restaurant also provided a wonderful dining experience. We absolutely loved our time here and can’t wait to return.

A Gem on the Russian River The hotel and room were lovely. The room had a small balcony overlooking the river. While the room was not large it was very comfortable with all the amenities including a large TV. My room was on the second floor reached only by a small staircase. This might be an issue for people who have mobility problems. The dining room was very nice that included a nice bar. My friends and I had dinner there and overall the food was very good, perhaps a tad expensive in that the main course included no sides. The service was quite acceptable although our waiter made a mistake a brought the wrong pasta dish to one of my friends. Finally, Herb the manager, was very friendly and accomodating. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay there, would definitely visit again and I would certainly recommend the Highland Dell Lodge.
