Afternoon lady at desk was friendly and helpful. Location was very good, close to restaurants and beaches.
Less pleasant were the extremely uncomfortable beds, no coffee ( not even a Keurig for self service) in the rooms or lobby before 7:30. This is horrible for early departure . The night desk man was rude

Mooi hotel in het centrum van Monte Gordo. Je wordt vriendelijk ontvangen door de receptie. Uitleg over restaurant, zwembad en dergelijke. Wij kwamen laat aan en eigenlijk was het restaurant al aan het sluiten maar we mochten toch nog naar binnen voor het eten van het buffet. Er werd meteen gekeken of alles nog wel aanwezig was (voor 2 personen!!). Heerlijk glaasje wijn erbij. Super.. Dan de kamer.. die was groter dan verwacht!! Mooi en prima schoon. Hij werd ook dagelijks schoongemaakt. Als je wilt uitslapen kun je een knopje indrukken dat ze niet mogen storen en dan komen ze terug zodra het lampje uit is. Het matras ligt prima. Mooie badkamer erbij met ligbad. Echt super. Airco werkte perfect. Goede tv. Er is ook een zwembad en een spa. Daar werd eigenlijk geen gebruik van gemaakt in de periode (september) dat wij er waren. Niet 1 keer iemand in gezien, maar ja je zit in vijf minuten aan het strand. Het hotel heeft ook een goede ligging, op loopafstand van het centrum en de boulevard met volop restaurantjes maar ook in de straatjes erachter en aan het strand zelf zitten volop winkeltjes en horeca. Met een huurauto of openbaar vervoer kun je alle kanten op.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights and although staff were nice and helpful the cleaning staff did not change the bed sheets once. The bathroom was not cleaned to a high standard and used cups and plates we left in the room were never removed. On a positive note when we asked for a kettle it was given, they allowed us to check in earlier than the original check in time and also allowed us a late check out time. We slept very well and breakfast was decent. Overall I would recommend this hotel as somewhere to stay.

Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by this stay. While it wasn’t the cheapest option, and you might find more affordable alternatives by directly renting a place, it's simply not worth the extra hassle. The hotel was clean and cozy, with friendly staff and plenty of parking. The dinner buffet, in particular, was excellent value for money. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place without hesitation.

Great location a 5/10 min walk to the shops, bars and restaurant's. we stayed in one of the apartments with a lovely balcony where you could sit out and enjoy breakfast and a coffee, rooms where nice and beds where comfortable, the staff where very nice always greeted with a smile.
