Good place for a relaxing getaway. Good location, breakfast and services. The beds could be improved, as they are quite hard. The staff is very friendly.

Heel knus en gastvrij hotel. Ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk. Kamer eenvoudig maar schoon, badkamer netjes en een lekkere regendouche. Ik zat op de eerste etage, vanaf mijn balkon kon ik een zonneterras opstappen. Bar is goed gesorteerd en het is leuk om nog even een drankje te doen, zeer betaalbaar ook. Ontbijt is uitgebreid, voor elk wat wils. Avondeten erg basic, kip piri piri bevat geen pepers, alleen standaard zout en zwarte peper zoals je dat thuis ook bakt voor een standaard drumstick. Bij navraag krijg je een flesje tabasco op de tafel om wat piri piri toe te voegen. Veel te doen in de directe omgeving, prachtig strand omringd met bos, dorpje is ook heel gezellig en met veel winkels en restaurantjes. Een ritje met de trein naar Faro is zeker aan te raden.

Admittedly both staff at breakfast and cleaning staff were very pleasant but a youngish lad who usually works in the morning at reception was often curt, unhelpful and unfriendly. Reception to us is of great importance and a shame to feel somewhat disregarded first thing in the morning and on return was not a good vibe. Room needs some attention for sure. Fortunately we did meet João who was exceptionally helpful, cheerful and friendly. However, he only worked part time.

Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel . Ze doen echt hun best om het je naar de zin te maken . De kamers zijn gedateerd maar schoon . Prijs van eea is goed te doen . Je kunt hier overal goed en goedkoop eten . Ze zien je graag komen en de drukte valt erg mee . Het seizoen is nog niet begonnen

A lovely hotel. Arrived at the hotel and got a lovely,warm welcome. We got all the information we needed at the reception. Restaurant wasn't open untill later that evening but there was bar food available. A nice selection. Over the length of time we stayed there, the food was good, but felt there could have been a bit more choice. A lovely big room, with a balcony and a fine size shower room. This hotel is located walking distance from the ⛱ beach, and close to shops and restaurants. Staff were very kind and helpful. Worth a visit.

My wife and I stayed at the Inn over Xmas and experienced a quiet, relaxing and enjoyable stay. We got one of the two upstairs rooms which had an outdoor balcony with two chairs and a delightful view of the mountains. Also a pleasant surprise was the super water pressure in our shower. It's just across the street from the water which was also very convenient as we were able to easily capture some wonderful sunsets and seabird activity without having to get in the car. The food in the restaurant downstairs was excellent and the warm smiling staff and the Inn owners were all extremely friendly and available. Thanks Jon and Nancy for a wonderful experience. We hope to be back again soon.

Having read reviews which stated a very good breakfast, we were a little disappointed in the choices of fresh fruit, the fact the orange juice was diluted and there was no facility for toasting goods. The cooked options however, were very good.
