A bit off the beaten path, this holiday place (and winery) is perfect for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. You need to follow a 'strada bianche' (or better grigio) in-between the vineyards and olive trees to get to the house (don’t follow the 'google maps' directions as these will confuse you but just follow the “agriturismo” signs) but then you will find a really nice and typical Tuscan convent with (I believe) eight apartments around a patio. The apartment we had was not so new anymore (shower, kitchen, kitchen tools were a bit old) but it all felt authentic, was as expected based on the reviews, was big enough for the 3 of us (including 2 bath rooms), was quiet and had a well-behaving A/C! The swimming pool is located next to the house (approx. 50 meters), and was perfect! Big enough, very clean, good temperature and good chairs with some shade. Our host Matteo was super friendly and helpful. It was the right interaction, making sure we were happy but not too pushy and giving us the time to relax and do it our own way. He gave good tips for the neighborhood though and gave a good and personalized wine tour and tasting. Their own Brunello di Montalcino is really good! Perfect spot to discover the Val d’Orcia valley (Montalcino - Pienza – Montepulciano) but also direction Siena – Firenze with the car or even with the bike going over the famous strade bianche, and come back 'home' to relax after a busy and/or hot day.
