The property features modern, stylish rooms and a well-maintained pool in a picturesque setting. Guests praise the excellent service and comfortable bedding but express disappointment with the limited breakfast options.

Beautiful We had three nights here following a wedding in Umbria. It was breathtaking. The scenery is more than I ever expected and the peacefulness was just what we needed. You do need a car as it is in the middle of nowhere. The room that we stayed in which was a Superior Double Room was very clean and modern. The bed and linens were incredibly comfortable. The one thing I did miss in the room were the facilities to put toiletries etc as there are no shelves etc anywhere in the room or bathroom so the room ends up looking a bit of a shambles if you carry lots of toiletries, hair products etc. The swimming pool is beautiful with idylic views. There are only two places for shade however, and as these were both occupied we did not stay too long there. Also the sunbeds themselves were not comfortable, I think for the price of the hotel which is luxury better sunbeds would be supplied. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel though for a bit of luxury and relaxation and would stay there again should we be in that particular area.

We arrived well courtesy of the helpful directions (via what’s app, a good way to communicate when in the move) to a very beautiful villa and adjacent set of buildings and gardens, not to forget the lovely vineyard surroundings in this special part of Tuscany. The accommodation consists of three cases each with varying numbers of bedrooms, ours being Orto, with two beds each with ensuites. Very warm welcome from Marta and all the team here very pleasant. There is a lot of visitation to the property with wine tastings etc. but the hotel accommodation is quiet and separate. It is not a full service hotel, but rather a place where you can live as if in your own apartment, which suited us and our friends. We made good use of the reasonably equipped kitchen and living areas, although better access to an outdoor area would have been appreciated - it appears that the other two cases, Casale and a larger one, do have outdoor access, but one has four bedrooms and the other five, so really for larger groups. The gardens re spectacular and the pool area enjoys a lovely view too. Breakfast is good, in a wonderful room, and dinner in the same room, Ara Jani, is exceptional… the chef Elena Monti, is very gifted and presented a lovely set of options ( a fixed menu) each night. Sadly we couldn’t do justice to it along with daily lunchtime expeditions… All in all a lovely stay and well recommended

Wow, what a place. This is quite simply the most beautiful place we have ever stayed and I can’t wait to go back. The location is idyllic and all you can hear when relaxing are the sounds of birds chirping in the distance. It’s close enough to Montalcino to have a little run in to town when you fancy going somewhere a little busier. All of the staff are wonderful and I can’t thank them enough for looking after us for our 4 nights. We did a wine tasting and the food menu that accompanied it was possibly the best meal I’ve had and certainly the best I had whilst in Italy. Rooms were immaculate and it felt so special to stay in the restored buildings. The attention to detail was second to none. I’d just like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Argiano for making our stay so perfect. We can’t wait to see you again soon. Phil & Jodie xx

We stayed at Argiano Dimore for 3 days and were looking forward to it as the highlight of our Tuscany trip. The advertised pictures looked incredible. However unfortunately we were left disappointed by what the accommodation offers in reality. Expecting to be able to enjoy a pool as advertised on their website and with 25 degrees Celsius outside, we were told the pool is a „seasonal pool“ and not currently open. The rooms are nice, but else the hotel does not offer much. Not even a glass of wine as a welcome (which one would think an easy thing to offer for a vinery of this caliber), nor a complimentary bottle of water in the room, or any of those small gestures that make one feel welcome as a guest. The breakfast is standard, but again nothing special, for the room prices one would certainly expect much more (and we did have amazing high quality breakfasts in other accommodations in Tuscany, most with a lower price tag than Argiano Dimore). The tour of the winery / wine cellar comes with another hefty price tag, even for guests. One is not made to feel very welcome by the staff either - the feeling we got was that this is an elite winery and that we should be happy to be here. When providing the feedback on checkout and hoping for a small refund as we were not able to use the pool facilities, we were left high and dry. Again an easy thing (we find) for a hotel to do, even if it is just a small refund / gesture. So in summary: not worth it in our eyes for just a nice room!

Semplicemente vergognoso!

This was our first time staying at a winery in Italy and we clearly chose the right one! We had an incredible experience and had a wonderful opportunity to unwind and relax. We tried two wine tastings including the paired dinner and paired lunch. Both times, the food and wine were exceptional and some of the best we ultimately had in our two week Italy trip. I'd like to highlight the exceptional and warm service we received from Marta, Gaia and Andurance (Eddie). They made us feel like the winery was our own and that we were hanging out with family and friends. I've posted some pictures on *********** that I think speak for themselves; I haven't shared the best ones as I feel you should really experience the winery with your own eyes.

If you want to have a 360-degree postcard of Val d’Orcia, don’t hesitate, you are where you need to be. Of course we are here in the middle of the vineyards not on a rocky peak but Montalcino is a quarter of an hour by car. Walking around the grounds and spending time doing nothing (lounging is a concept suited to the place) at the swimming pool should be on your agenda. You can enjoy a salad and a Brunello under a superb arbor while contemplating the valley. Don't miss the visit to the cellar with the general manager before leaving because it's a museum! In addition to Montalcino wines, a mind-blowing Bordeaux collection will make you dream if you are interested in wine. Now a few negative points to highlight: 1- the rooms on the ground floor are dark, in summer it's ok, at a less bright period it's very tight 2- only one armchair for 2, too bad, at 450€ per room we would have appreciated having one each 3- soundproofing with the room above is really a problem if you have "elephants" as neighbors, waking up at dawn guaranteed (6am in our case) 4- if you consume, ask for it price of glasses of wine, there is no menu, you ask what you want. Result: a 21€ “thimble” stuck in my throat 5- the breakfast is good without being at the level of the expected service. Good charcuterie but 2 days without cheese, out of 6 days is a lot In conclusion, a place where it is good to spend time enjoying the place and the surroundings but pay attention to the small details which often make the difference between a large establishment and a more “pretender”
