The Velona Castle, located on a hill overlooking the Val d'Orcia, a Unesco World Heritage Site (2004), is a restored castle dating back to the 10th / 11th century. Located 1 h45 minutes from Florence and just 8 km from Montalcino, the Castle dominates the Val D’Orcia, with its typical landscape of olive trees and vineyards, which produce the famous Brunello di Montalcino. The Castle has a total of 16 rooms and 29 suites, and have been designed according to two different concepts: Castle rooms and Contemporary rooms. The Resort counts 3 restaurants, 2 of which are open for dinner with a Gourmet Menù at the Brunello Restaurant and traditional italian Cusine at Settimo Senso, and the Dolce Vita Pool Restaurante, located outside the pool area is open only for lunch. The OLISPA is an oasis of pure relaxation that extends over an area of 1500 square meters where the Tuscan travertine dominates in a linear and refined environment: Jacuzzi, two Turkish baths, a sauna, emotional showers and ice falls and 4 pools, two inside and two outside, with thermal water and open 24h.

Abbiamo trascorso un weekend meraviglioso in questo hotel termale immerso nella campagna toscana. L’atmosfera è rilassante fin dal primo momento: ambienti eleganti ma accoglienti, personale discreto e sempre disponibile. Piscine termali calde, area relax silenziosa e trattamenti di altissimo livello. La nostra camera era spaziosa, pulitissima e con una vista incantevole sulle colline.
