The furniture is old, the facilities are incomplete, and there are all kinds of inconveniences. It is totally not worth the price. Disposable slippers and kettles were provided upon request. It is said that the charge of 8,000 yuan per night makes the guests take the initiative but the service is not adequate. Apart from selling the concept of a castle, there is nothing else worth visiting. The standard of the restaurant is also very average.

We recently stayed at Castello Di Velona 4 nights with friends from Europe. The hotel location is spectacular. The views of the Tuscan countryside are exceptional. We especially enjoyed the thermal pool, and spa treatments. Hotel staff and services were also 5 stars level. Morning breakfast was really good, with many fresh options. We also had dinner at the hotel one evening in the main restaurant. While prices were higher than other restaurants we went to during our trip to Tuscany, service was exceptional, and our food was excellent. So overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Luogo incantato Siamo stati in questo castello da sogno, con vista mozzafiato. Colazione ottima e fresca, buoni i dolci. Cena ottima, la carne qualità, senza parlare del vino… da acquistare tassativamente perché è in vendita solo al castello o online sul loro sito. Eccellente anche le terme delle piscine, alla temperatura giusta. Camera molto comoda, silenziosa e con tutti i confort, persino la bilancia. Vengo ogni anno perché questo luogo crea dipendenza … Lo consiglio vivamente

Sono stato con mia moglie in questo posto incantevole con un paesaggio mozzafiato, cucina spettacolare con cibi prelibati e insoliti che ti lasciano piacevolmente sorpreso. Abbiamo anche provato il Brunello prodotto dalla azienda agricola del castello molto particolare. Posto indimenticabile.

Tornato a distanza di 3 anni ho riscontrato una maggiore cura nei dettagli e un miglioramento del personale in generale. La location e’ e rimane splendida e non si discute. Tuttavia ho notato anche un sensibile aumento dei prezzi e trovo inconcepibile che una struttura di questo livello con prezzi altrettanto importanti non offra alcuna forma d’intrattenimento serale, nemmeno un semplice bar e un po’ di musica di sottofondo nella hall. A mia richiesta di un drink dopo cena mi è stato detto dal Concierge che forse potevo chiederlo al ristorante se c’era ancora qualcuno senza darmi alcuna alternativa.
