Absolutely beautiful! We visited Mastrojanni between a few of the large cities and it was the perfect relaxation spot for us! Montalcino offers breathtaking views and wonderful restaurants (we loved Boccon Di Vino). The Mastrojanni staff are super friendly and attentive. Its a very small place, only 11 guest rooms, so the service is very personalized. Only small thing we'd have changed is the menu in the restaurant doesn't change from lunch to dinner and if you do not have a car, you're somewhat restricted due to the remoteness. The food was very good, it just would be nice to have a bit more variety between meals. We loved our visit and can't wait to enjoy the wine we shipped back home!

We were part of a Tuscany walking trip and enjoyed lunch at Mastrojanni Relais. The setting is spectacular and the meal was delicious. We were able to tour a couple of the guest rooms and wished we could stay there for a few nights. It is a memorable place to visit and stay.

Wir haben wieder wie im letzten Jahr für einige Tage das Relais Mastrojanni ausgewählt. Das Ambiente ist wunderbar, sauber und gepflegt; das Personal mit Direktor Stefano höflich, zuvorkommend und kompetent; die Zimmer sind heuer neu gestaltet mit Designermöbeln und modernem Outfit. Die gesamte Struktur präsentiert sich in der Superlative. Leider hat das Angebot der Kulinarik beim Frühstück im Vergleich zum vergangenen Jahr abgenommen: es gab nur mehr drei Sorten Obst: Äpfel, Birnen und Orangen- keine Früchte wie verschiedene Beeren, Ananas, Melone und Fruchtsalat wie zuvor. Auch die Säfte wurden reduziert, Pistazien- und Schokoladecreme gab es auch nicht mehr. Diese Minimierung wird mit der Berufung auf Regionalität gerechtfertigt und argumentiert. Wir finden es schade, wenn das bisher wunderbare Frühstück mit der Steigerung der Ausstattung der Zimmer nicht mithalten konnte und reduziert wurde. Christa und Josef

It was a wonderful stay. The staff was truly committed to give us the best experience. The wines are tasteful and the scenery is amazing. The food tasted really great and everything was taken care of. A luxerious visit!! The location is on top of a hill and ideal for hiking and cycling.

Unforgettable stay at a beautiful winery hotel
This was our favorite accommodation during our long trip in Italy. The breakfast was amazing, and it was such a shame we didn’t have enough time to enjoy it properly due to our schedule. The kind staff even packed us some coffee and water for the road, which was so thoughtful and touching.
The hotel is part of a stunning winery, and we regret not booking the Mastrojanni winery tour—we had other tours lined up, but if you stay here, definitely join their afternoon or next-morning tour. They make truly excellent wine.
Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also outstanding—we had the best pasta of our lives there.
The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a newly renovated bathroom that we really appreciated. Honestly, we’d go back to Montalcino just to stay here again.

The whole entire staff was amazing from check in to check out. Very accommodating with an 8 month old child. The room was spacious with modern luxury and Tuscan charm. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner delicious and elegant. And to top it all off, probably the best view in all of Montalcino. Don't forget to swim with that view!

Sono stati due giorni davvero stupendi...un relais da sogno immerso in un paesaggio mozzafiato. Degustazione in cantina ottima.Personale super cordiale e attento . Tutto curato nei minimi dettagli e .....una colazione fantastica con vista sulle colline toscane. Torneremo sicuramente in estate.
