De l'extérieur , rien à voir avec une prison ! Ensuite on entre, on passe l'accueil et on est conduit à la chambre ( cellule). La cellule est en fait une chambre sympathique avec fenêtre . La chambre est fermée par une porte classique et une porte d'ancienne prison. La chambre donne sur une cour fermée. Un puits de lumière laisse passer la luminosité dans cette cour qui est aussi à l'abris de la pluie. Belles pierres, escaliers en bois et nombreux objets anciens suspendus dans la cour. Côté confort des chambres, rien à dire. Bonne literie, salle de bain spacieuse et chauffée comme la chambre d'ailleurs. Personnel au top .

Two night stay: I called the hotel at 8:30 pm to say was stuck in traffic & would be arriving at 11:30 pm to be told that the hotel & restaurant would be completely closed at 9pm. The hotel offered to wait until 10pm, I said the earliest would be 11pm & was told there was no way in or out!!!!! I was also told that I received a message advising the hotel closed at 9pm. The message actually said no reception after 9pm. Nowhere did it state that the hotel was completely closed & there was no way of obtaining a key after this time. This was a two night stay & ended up booking a nearby Ibis. The hotel refused a refund for both nights. Absolutely shocking service. It's called Prison for a reason.

Trop cher pour ce prix on aurait pu avoir un spa et piscine dans un hôtel de même catégorie Déçus Cadre plutôt sympa : très original de dormir en prison ! Mais c'est tout ce qui nous a attendri avec un bon accueil

Endroit particulier mais agréable. Chambres / cellules sobres mais propres avec le nécessaire : elles correspondent au lieu. Personnel et patron très sympathique et agréable. Très bonne cuisine Grande terrasse extérieure pour midi et soirée.

L'enseigne est surprenante et le décor intérieur également. L'accueil est très chaleureux et les chambres très confortables au point de faire une belle grasse matinée 😁 Entre Lyon et Vienne (Montagny près de Givors) Adresse à retenir !

Ce restaurant est facile d’accès avec de nombreux parking aux alentours. La façade en pierre est superbe. La grande salle, visible de l’extérieur correspond à une salle assez classique pour un restaurant. Toutefois, pour celui-ci et au regard des prix des plats et des menus (34 a 54€ hors boisson), cela pourrait être plus sophistiqué avec des nappes blanches par exemple. L’accueil est très chaleureux avec un patron parfaitement dans son rôle et des équipes qui s’affairent pour servir les nombreux clients. Les vins originaux est accessibles, les plats et la vaisselle parfaitement adaptés. C’est bien préparé, c’est très bon et c’est suffisamment copieux… hum un régal pour les yeux et pour les palais. Globalement, le plus serait au niveau des tables qui pourraient être nappes avec les serviettes en tissus. Là, cela correspondrait très bien aux offres et aux coûts. On reviendra avec des amis. Merci à tous.

C'est une très bonne adresse. Les plats choisis étaient savoureux, originaux et joliment présentés. Le cadre est également agréable Je regrette juste le bruit très présent. Ne conviendrait pas a un repas romantique mais très bien en famille !

Upon being let down by the restaurant we were meant to eat at we arrived here for a last minute booking. We were delighted as the food was exceptionally good, we both had the sea bass, delicious. The wine however was slightly strange as it seemed to come from a machine (!?) which processed expensive wine by the glass and at E8 (which was the cheapest) for a tiny 10cl serving was slightly over the top. We would certainly recommend this restaurant but do book in advance as it seemed incredibly busy.
