This hotel is good: picturesque, historical, good quality, but it wasn’t what I expected. It’s more like a conference centre and feels like a university campus. The cafeteria is very good, as is the pool and spa (although the Finnish sauna is being rebuilt). The room was well equipped and comfortable. However, what spoiled the stay for me was the noise. The corridors are not sound proofed, so the noise of people talking, bottles being cleared, vacuum cleaners, doors being unlocked, locked and closed carried into my room. This was made worse by house keeping twice trying to get into my room at 07:30! Parking is away from the rooms and reception. Walks to the main hotel amenities involves a series of steep steps. It is a castle after all, but anyone in poor health should avoid. Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay again simply because the noise pollution annoyed me.

Great hotel close to the highway
Excellent one night stay - but, the facility is superb in terms of room design and comfort, very good breakfast. Inviting for longer stays.

Sehr schöne Anlage, Outlet gut zu erreichen, Wellness Angebot ist gut, mit Außenbereich und Recht großem Schwimmbad. Einrichtung der Einzelzimmer "sehr 90er", dennoch sehr gepflegt. Staff ist Super, Frühstück großartig in sehr schönen Räumlichkeiten mit Panoramablick. Allgemein lädt die Anlage zum erforschen ein. Teils miss man viele Stufen erklimmen um an die Rezeption oder zum Frühstück zu gelangen, das ist aber der außergewöhnlichen Lage auf dem Hügel geschuldet. Klare Empfehlung und für mich eine der Top Adressen der Region.
Falls es das noch gibt: 2008 haben wir sehr gut und verglichesweise günstig in einem dem Hotel angeschlossenem und von Azubis aus ganz Deutschland geführten Restaurant gegessen.

A historic and picturesque place beautifully located in a parc on a hill with lovely views. Spacious single room w nice view, marvellous breakfast also offering lots of healthy items and until 11 am on week-ends. Spa area and pool were wonderful and staff was v attentive and kind. I will definitely return some day.

TOP per tutto, accoglienza, accomodation, spa, contesto, servizio, rapporto qualità prezzo. CONSIGLIATISSIMO! Le camere sono arredate con gusto e con ottimi materiali. il parcheggio è al coperto e ad un costo minimo (5€ per notte). nella hall, avete a disposizione caffè e tisane a volontà. Ma, portatevi le ciabatte nella spa, non sono in dotazione nel kit

Als Hochzeitsgäste dort, inkl. Übernachtung. Das Zimmer im Haus Coblenz war top modern, mit Klimaanlage und Balkon. Bettenseiten einzeln elektrisch im Härtegrad einstellbar. Bad mit Regendusche. Allerdings 1/4 Punkt Abzug für den Designer, der der Meinung war, die Milchglas-Wände des kpl. Bads mit schmalen Klarglasstreifen brechen und den unteren Bereich ganz aus Klarglas machen zu müssen… und danke auch für den Spiegel gegenüber der Toilette. Etwas mehr Privatsphäre wäre noch schöner gewesen und meine Figur kenne ich zur Genüge. ;) Ansonsten aber Jammern auf hohem Niveau! Die Krönung aber war der ungläubige Blick auf die Preisliste der Minibar! Leute, euer Ernst? € 1,60 für eine 0,33er Flasche feinstes Hachenburger Hell? So günstige Minibar-Preise habe ich zuletzt bei Umstellung auf Euro gesehen… absolute Klasse und das Tüpfelchen auf dem i!! Service und Buffet/Getränke während der Feier auf ebenso hohem Level, chapeau! Das Essen war sehr gut, es wurde zeitig nachgelegt und die Crew war super freundlich und zuvorkommend! Danke für den schönen Abend!
