Hallo zusammen, wir sind nun seit Jahren Camper und buchen, wenn möglich, immer die erste Strandreihe. Umso mehr haben wir uns gefreut, als wir die Info bekommen haben, dass wir tatsächlich auf der angeblich unendlich Langen Warteliste für eine Strandplatz die Zusage bekommen haben. Es ist Platz 33 in der Avenida Aranjuez. Was die Rezeption uns bei einem Preis von 3.400€ für zwei Wochen allerdings verschwiegen hat, ist dass das der Platz ist an dem alle Jetskis zu Wasser gelassen werden und anschließend wieder zurück inklusive Reinigung bei laufenden Motoren und lauter Musik. Und ich rede hier nicht von zwei oder drei Jetskis, sondern auf dem gesamten Platz mit ca. 500 Plätzen sind 490 davon mit Holländern belegt, wo ungefähr jeder zehnte sein Jetski und sein Trike dabei hat. Und ab 8.00 Uhr morgens bis ca. 17.00 Uhr Nachmittags ist hier nichts anderes zu hören als knatternde Trikes die die Jetskis permanent rein und raus fahren oder aufheulende Jetskis, die natürlich direkt am Strand von Salzwasser bei laufenden Motoren unter ständigem reißen am Gashahn gesäubert werden müssen. Also fallt nicht darauf rein!!! Bucht niemals die Avenida Aranjuez und erst recht nicht den Platz 33. das ist die Touristen Abzocke, für alle die die den Platz vorher nicht kannten. Wir sind natürlich naiv gewesen und haben zu viel Vertrauen gehabt, aber bei einem 5 Sterne Campingplatz habe ich nicht gedacht, dass man so reinfallen kann, bzw. nicht über die Situation ausreichend aufgeklärt wird. Wir können jetzt nichts an der Situation ändern und versuchen unseren Resturlaub dennoch zu genießen, aber wir schreiben dass hier, damit alle anderen die das lesen, nicht in die selbe Falle tappen. Schade, aber der Platz wird uns nie wieder sehen….

Hello les baroudeurs !!!! Tout d’abord je souhaite remercier de tout cœur master sushi pour nous avoir fait découvrir ce bel endroit 🥹 cependant le service est à revoir, le personnel est plus que désagréable mais petite pensée à la mascotte du club (un vrai rayon de soleil) autre point à revoir les hollandais sont beaucoup trop présents ils nous envahissent de partout, pas du toit respectueux, bruyants, regards de travers, poucave, et ne respecte pas le code de la route avec leur vélos. Toutefois il faut admettre que le staff fait un excellent travail (petite pensée pour Johnny et son beau sourire charmant) mais toute fois assez intrusifs (chhhuuuutttttttt). Autre point à revoir il serait interessant d’envisager d’installer des panneaux concernant les rochers dans l’eau ( encore des séquelles sur les pieds…). Mais en tout cas merci beaucoup pour la musique du club elle est super chouette. Bisous bisous les campeurs 😜

We stayed with Eurocamp and The campsite was beautiful, very well looked after, the swimming pool was great and the separate splash pad was absolutely perfect for my 4.5 and 1.5 year old. The life guards on the pools mean business, they are so strict, probably the safest pool I have ever swam in. They are on watch 24/7. The pool didn’t open until 11 and that is just so late for us, but towards the end of our stay which ran into July it opened earlier at 1030 (still really late for us!), however when the beach is literally within walking distance it’s really not a big deal. The campsite is set just next to the most gorgeous beach. This is our 4th year staying with Eurocamp and we found the campsite to be amazing but Eurocamp really have let themselves down. The staff were sadly the worst we have dealt with which really is a massive surprise because every other site the staff have really made it for us. Usually we receive a text message the day before or the day of arrival asking us our arrival time and they have always met us at our time of arrival. We did not receive this message this time. When I arrived the Eurocamp office was closed it was 1400 in the afternoon. There was a big sign that said “check in at 4pm!!!!!!”, there was also another sign with a mobile number so I called it. The Eurocamp lady came straight away and tutted at me saying “I’m not sure your cabin will be ready”. No hello, no welcome, no happy holiday. She handed me our key and that was literally it. I was so shocked. Our cabin was a real let down too and we have not experienced that either. No kettle, no toaster, no gas bbq (coal bbq which for us just doesn’t work, it takes too long when you have kids!!!), I requested high chair and baby bath which was not there. The decking had a baby gate which was broken, really annoying when you have a 1.5 year old who is very feral. It was very basic and not the cleanest. Within the first hour of being there I called Eurocamp to request the missing items and they told me that they didn’t have any extras of anything and if I found anything else we needed there was no way they would have it and to deal with it. Honestly I am gutted about Eurocamp because I usually sing their praises but this time they let us down. Do not let it put you off the campsite because it is simply perfect. A real hidden gem. We loved every single thing about it apart from Eurocamp.

Ho appena trascorso una vacanza indimenticabile al Playa Montroig Camping Resort e non posso fare a meno di condividere la mia esperienza straordinaria! Questo campeggio è un vero gioiello sulla Costa Daurada, un posto che ti fa sentire coccolato dall’inizio alla fine. Partiamo dai bagni: semplicemente impeccabili! Sono grandissimi, moderni e, soprattutto, pulitissimi, tanto da sembrare nuovi ogni giorno. La cura per l’igiene qui è davvero maniacale, e si vede in ogni dettaglio. Non ho mai visto servizi igienici così ben tenuti in un campeggio, un vero punto di forza! La spiaggia è un sogno: lunga, sabbiosa e direttamente accessibile dal campeggio, con un mare cristallino che invita a rilassarsi o a fare un tuffo. È perfetta per chi cerca relax o per chi vuole divertirsi con attività acquatiche. Il tutto incorniciato da un’atmosfera mediterranea con palme e panorami mozzafiato. Il campeggio è curatissimo in ogni aspetto: dai vialetti asfaltati ai giardini tropicali, tutto è mantenuto con una precisione che lascia a bocca aperta. La pulizia è ovunque, dalle piscine scintillanti alle aree comuni, e questo rende l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. I servizi sono super efficienti: dal supermercato ben fornito ai ristoranti con piatti deliziosi, tutto funziona come un orologio svizzero. La connessione Wi-Fi è stabile, e c’è persino un’app del campeggio che rende tutto ancora più comodo. Il personale è un altro highlight: sempre cordiale, sorridente e disponibile, ti fanno sentire come a casa. Che si tratti di un aiuto pratico o di un semplice consiglio su cosa fare nei dintorni, sono sempre pronti a darti una mano con simpatia e professionalità. Le piazzole Premium Deluxe? Semplicemente spettacolari! Grandi, spaziose e con una vista sul mare che ti lascia senza parole. Ogni piazzola è pensata per offrire comfort e privacy, immerse in un contesto verdeggiante che rende il soggiorno ancora più magico. Svegliarsi con il suono delle onde e quella vista panoramica è stato un vero lusso. In poche parole, Playa Montroig è un paradiso per chi cerca una vacanza perfetta. È un campeggio di altissimo livello, dove ogni dettaglio è curato per garantire un’esperienza indimenticabile. Non vedo l’ora di tornarci! Consigliatissimo a famiglie, coppie o chiunque voglia godersi il meglio del campeggio di lusso!

Overall, brilliant stay. The park is well equipped, spacious, and clean. Pools and beaches were big wins. We are a family of 5, booked the new sunset villas, and they didn't disappoint. A/c was a godsend. The temp, on average, was 33 and 28 at night. It's really well stocked with bits and pieces. You still need to buy all your food at the supermarket, which was fabulous. Being a keen scuba diver, I made contact with the local dive centre. Met the boss, Albert, and his assistant, Lucas. I have to say, these two lads went above and beyond a normal dive centre. We were away with two other families from home, so there were 6 adults and 7 children ranging from 9 to 15. Albert and Lucas put together a discovery scuba beach dive day and managed to bring all 3 families. This was a once in a life time experience. My 9 year old got to experience breathing under water and now has the "bug" to do it again. (Big thanks to these two fantastic people) The 'food' in general was decent, to be fair. There's three places on site to eat and a few restaurants up the beach. Most people mixed eating in and alternating the local restaurants. I have to say, even though certain things are expensive, I found the whole site very reasonably priced, especially the supermarket. (It even has a full butcher counter) We did the waterpark one day and chose Aquapolis in salou. I've no frame of reference to any others, but this one was just ok. Found it very tired as a park. Unless we got the VIP area and speedy passes, the day would have been a waste. Now this was really expensive so be ware. All in all, playa montroig was good. I wouldn't come back purely due to the location. I felt this was too far away from the main area of salou. Taxis to places were 50/100 euro return, so you had to make do with the site for the bulk of your stay. No "tat" shopping for the ladies in montroig, I'm afraid!! Good 4 🌟

Top camping, super schoon en alles netjes bijgehouden. Tevens een mooi en groot zwembad en een leuk waterpark voor de kids. Sanitair meer dan uitstekend en ook erg schoon. Huisjes prima in orde en altijd goede service van het personeel. Enige 2 minpunten was het lange wachten bij het afhalen van pizza's en dat ze bij het zwembad nog wel eens onnodig streng kunnen zijn.

Al 5 jaar onze favoriete vakantiebestemming met ruimte voor verbetering We komen nu al 5 jaar op camping Playa Montroig en dat is natuurlijk niet voor niets. De camping ligt in een prachtige omgeving en de kampeerplekken zijn ruim en goed verzorgd. Je hebt hier echt de ruimte om tot rust te komen. Een absoluut pluspunt is het toiletgebouw in Zone A. Dit wordt altijd brandschoon gehouden door zonder twijfel de vriendelijkste vrouw van de hele camping. Ze begroet iedereen vriendelijk, maakt met zichtbaar plezier schoon, en als je wilt gaan douchen komt ze zelfs speciaal naar je toe om ‘jouw’ douche nog even extra netjes te maken. Dat soort persoonlijke aandacht zie je zelden nog. De nieuwe camping-app is een waardevolle toevoeging. Hiermee kun je gemakkelijk informatie vinden en reserveringen maken. Wel zou het fijn zijn als de communicatie via de app wat duidelijker en consistenter wordt. Soms mis je net even de juiste uitleg of een belangrijke update. Tijdens Sant Joan hebben we genoten van een prachtig feest. De sfeer was geweldig en het werd goed georganiseerd, een absoluut hoogtepunt van onze vakantie dit jaar. Toch zijn er ook punten waar Playa Montroig wat aandacht aan mag besteden. Zo merken we dat het personeel bij de receptie en in het restaurant vaak wat ongeïnteresseerd overkomt. Regelmatig wordt er met een zucht gereageerd op een vraag, alsof het werk allemaal nét te veel is. Een vriendelijker houding zou de gastvrijheid echt ten goede komen. Wat we ook jammer vinden, is dat het strand de laatste jaren flink smaller is geworden. Waar het vroeger breed en ruim was, zelfs tijdens drukke dagen, is het nu vaak zoeken naar een plekje voor je bedje. Hopelijk kan hier in de toekomst iets aan gedaan worden. Al met al blijven we graag terugkomen naar Playa Montroig vanwege de sfeer, de mooie omgeving en de goede voorzieningen. Met een paar verbeterpunten zou het van een heel goede naar een uitmuntende camping promoveren!
