Comfort Suites

This is the best chain hotel I've ever experienced. Complimentary upgrade for our anniversary, amazing breakfast, comfortable bed, great location (right at the entrance to the Turnpike and Parkway), clean and spacious room, and friendly/helpful staff. Won't stay anywhere else in Pittsburgh now!

Stayed with wife for 3 nights attending a coin show at the Conference center which is only about a 5 minute drive. This Comfort Suites is one of better ones that I stayed at. We had a jacuzzi suite on 3rd floor. Looking out window I could easily see my car parked in front of entrance - the entrance is on side of hotel. Nice spacious room with 3 TVs - there was one to the side of the jacuzzi with an electric fireplace underneath it as well as one in the bathroom. Shower pressure was more than adequate, Room had coffee maker, small refrigerator and microwave. Full length mirror on closet door and o Wi-fi was fast. There is also a computer and printer next to breakfast area. They have a nice breakfast which included microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, cooked cheese omelet as well as cereal, muffins, bread, waffle maker oatmeal, Juicers and coffee. The omelet and sausages were put out at ^AM but everything else was available earlier. Free USA newspaper in lobby, Road is heavily traveled so may have to wait for the light to get across to turn left. Front desk staff are helpful and sociable. May want to book ahead as each AM I saw sold out sign on the check in desk.

This is smaller than the normal Comfort Inn, but it had everything I wanted except for a pool & spa which was no big deal. What they did have was a clean & comfortable room that had a doorbell. It had a fast & reliable internet. It had a delicious & ample hot breakfast. And it had a friendly & helpful staff. The only drawback is that heavy traffic on the street outside the hotel may make driving to eat somewhere challenging. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

It was hard to find the entrance to the parking lot, and the lot itself was very dark, cramped, and full of potholes. The staff was very nice, the room and bathroom were clean, but the location and parking were pretty scary for a woman traveling alone.

I used to work in the hotel industry, so I can be a bit of a hotel snob. Years ago I stayed at a Comfort Inn in another city that left me saying I was done with the brand. However, I needed a place to stay just outside of Pittsburgh and the Comfort Suites Monroeville came up in my Google search. After reading reviews, I decided to take a chance. I am so glad that I did. Staff were friendly and helpful, from the housekeeping staff who pointed me to the ice machine, to the front desk clerks who checked me in and out, and gave me a new key to my room when I had locked myself out. My room was clean, sheets passed inspection, and pillows were all properly fluffed. Water pressure for my morning shower was perfect and I had no issue getting the water temperature I wanted. I loved the two shower heads. Shower could use a small shelp for soap and shampoo, but that seemed a minor inconvenience only. Breakfast food was predictable, but there was a decent variety of choices. The area was well stocked, and surfaces were kept wiped clean. If I had a negative to state, the parking lot needs some tlc, but as they are currently sprucing up the exterior of the building, I would guess that is on the list to be done. I will be travelling to Pittsburgh again soon, and this just became my go-to hotel for that stay.

Looking for a last minute hotel near or in Pittsburgh, found the reviews of this hotel and I booked it. What was my experience? Very good price, nice, quiet, roomy and clean. Good breakfast. Attentive and friendly staff.

Not the best experience. Staff is nice. Not the cleanest room and bathroom. I would not stay here again. Not sure how it was scored a 4.5 out of 5. Bed was comfortable but really didnt want to be in it…………………………………………………………………………………………………..

The experience at the Front desk by the young man with the "poof" was excellent. He's very efficient and kind. The room was clean, hats off to housekeeping. The breakfast was basic, and what you need to start your day and very clean. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel.

I'm looking for a hotel, and found it odd that this hotel advertised proximity to one type of church, but not other churches that are closer. Is there a particular type of client they are trying to attract? Or other types of clients they want to deter? I'm not sure what to make of this. I don't want to rate good or bad, just keep business professional and impartial.
