A very nice surprise hotel. My first stay there. Very clean and very friendly staff. Quiet as it’s a good distance from the freeway. Free breakfast and parking. Rooms are a modern decor and has everything you need. Rooms are a bit small but was very comfortable. Cheaper than other hotels downtown during football weekends but only 10 minutes to campus & State Street. Very easy. Will definitely stay here again when in Madison.

The Avid is modern and clean. They have a decent complimentary breakfast. I gave it a 3 rating because it’s one of the noisiest hotels at night I’ve stayed at. We didn’t get a good nights sleep the entire time we were there. I don’t think they did any sound proofing between rooms.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help, which made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, which added to the overall pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Everything about this property was great. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was awesome. The location is also great because you have a ton of food options all around you. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Staff were wonderful, easy check in and very clean. Loved the coffee and water station in the lobby along with the breakfast. I have not had the best of luck lately with hotels and I was very impressed. Thank you for the nice stay, we will be back!

Nice place, fresh look. Good showers, temperature a bit complicated to control, thermostat not sensitive enough sometimes and too sensitive other time, so sometimes too hot, other times, too cold. Breakfast could be better, bagels where stale, omelette where dry, but it is still good enough. I just hate the disposable utensils, but I understand they don’t want to deal with washing dishes too limit costs.

First of all I was so surprised the bed was so comfortable. Plus I love the shower and all the lotion and soaps conditioner and shampoo. And then the breakfast was wonderful. It was easy to grab and go lots of choices very satisfying. And most importantly the shower pressure was the best in any hotel I've ever been in.

The most overpriced hotel room. Definitely not worth it. The grab and go breakfast is awful. Bagels tasted stale and old. The price made it seem like a 5 star resort. I’ve stayed at other brands for 1/3 of the price that were better. I expect more from an IHG property

I was bummed to not have coffee in the room. I hadn’t paid attention to that. But otherwise everything else was just great. Really clean and comfy beds. The breakfast is not like some that have hot pores with eggs, bacon etc but they had bagels in Saran Wrap and some Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches.
