Come for the quiet. Stay for the bed/sleep. Super friendly staff. Cool lobby with places for groups and cozy corners. This place never fails to impress. The room is tiny. But so well organized it all works. It is an Ikea Hotel IMO. And the space is ergonomically arranged so that even with a king bed everything works. Breakfast is perfect, from egg burritos to the coffee. But that bed is the holy grail of beds for me. We’ve stayed here several times and both times I slept like a rock. I even unwrapped the mattress to figure out what it was and found out I can get one at home $$ 😭😭😭

The staff has been the most responsive staff we have had in a long time. They responded to every request immediately. They also provided great suggestions on places to eat. They facility was clean.

I love my Avid Monona, mostly because of Alyssa. She makes me feel like a returning friend every time I arrive and everything runs so smoothly when Alyssa is on duty!! I wish I could take Avid Monona with me everywhere I travel. It’s truly my home away from home :)

Great place to stay! Clean and comfortable rooms. Great location with several restaurants located right next door. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I’ve stayed at this hotel several times and it is always my go-to place to stay when I am in Madison.

Good hotel in good area. Easy to get to. Elevators sort of slow, hotel room door return is pretty powerful, a little hard to get in and out with bags.
