Receptionist is very helpful - tips for great food, carrying luggage upstairs. And afer walking 15km in RAI, I needed exactly the same bathtub they had.

In terms of location, this hotel is 15 to 20 minutes away from the EBS bus station, which is not close, and it is not in a tourist area, which can be daunting. However, the monnikerdam where it is located has a quiet environment, and the rooms are traditional European-style small rooms. Living there is like living in a fairy tale.

Ik was met een groep op stap door Nederland en de Posthoorn was een van onze stops tijdens deze reis. Wanneer je met een groep op reis gaat is dat uiteraard aan constante wijzigingen onderhevig en kwamen wij zelfs in dit geval heel laat aan in de avond. De opstelling van dit kleine hotel was super flexible en er werd op ons gewacht. De hotel kamers waren fantastisch, prachtig mooi ingericht en heerlijke bedden. Helaas moesten we de volgende ochtend weer vroeg vertrekken, maar ze hebben een fantastische indruk achtergelaten door de fantastische flexibiliteit!

Excellent stay! Room was very comfortable and clean, great SPA facilities and a very good breakfast.
We had a dinner reservation at the restaurant that wowed us on arrival but left very disappointed after the meal. Menu was disappointing and overpriced. Need to hire a new chef and less more attentive staff.

Two days, one night in Monnickendam. Upon arrival I had an online meeting, which was possible in the upstairs room. Wifi was OK and the service too. After that we cycled around the region for an afternoon. The dinner in the evening was very good. I don't know if I have ever eaten so refined before. Beautiful matching wines in the wine arrangement, with choices from wine regions that I personally do not know well. I let myself be surprised and that was a good move. My wife does not drink wine, but we both enjoyed it. The hotel room on the t****th floor is cozy. Nice bathroom. Good bed, for us a bit short beds, but if there is no wooden partition at the end of the bed, we do not suffer from that. The breakfast was delicious. Staff young, but skilled and knowledgeable and above all customer-oriented. Simply recommended for every couple who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy being together in a pleasant ambiance.

The staff were kind and so hopeful and gave amazing recommendations for dining. There is an enchanting bakery only a few steps from the Posthoorn. It was a quiet and cozy reprieve from city adventuring.

Very convenient location, nice structure. The room very nice. Very kind and helpful staff. Breakfast is paid with table service. Very useful the safe for the laptop with electronic lock using the access key to the room.
