Y Motels Gympie

This was the worst experience ever I arrived at 9pm on Saturday 5th July I was staying in Room 5 As soon as I unlocked the door it had a overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke It was all through the room and bedding The room was filthy The carpet had holes in it The paint was peeling off the walls in sections above the bed It was truely disgusting The bed and pillows smelt and were not comfortable I tried to sleep but the smell was overwhelming I opened the front door at 3am in the morning to try and help with the odour but it made little difference I had a shower and left early morning I had a headache and felt nauseous for most of the following day When I left in daylight hours there was a old mattress leaning up against the reception wall It is the worst place I have stayed in over my 20 years of traveling in Australia for work ( I travel every week) I spoke to the lady on front desk and all she said is she would past my comments on to the management I would never return here and I would recommend that you seriously consider another motel

Absolutely the worst place we had ever been to,walked into the room with a moist wet mould smell to then discover mould all over the lower part of the curtains which by the way where held together with safety pins.The bathroom was so unclean we actually picked up our bags and left straight away to find another place to stay this put us out of pocket and time to find another place to stay because I would not of even let my dogs stay in that room.

Stayed 2 nights on a late arrival easy key access on arrival room was great everything you need for short stay. Good clean & friendly staff

Don't stay here, can't park on the premises as owners have taped and blocked access. No restaurant as was advertised on line. Staff are unfriendly and disinterested in customer service. Rooms are terrible, old and the place is so noisy with road noise you won't have a good nights sleep.

The property was fine to lay our heads for one night. It didn’t have much open around but perhaps this was due to it being Boxing Day. We did get woken up at 4:30 am by loud guests shouting outside our room and also revving their big engines. However staff were helpful and friendly when asking for dining options.

Older style motel but interior modern. Plenty of space for parking for our car and trailer on the access road within 50 metres of our room. Slghtly more expensive than our previous motel in Gympie but it's worth it for the closeness and parking in a safe and quiet street. Will will stay there again.
