Really enjoyed our stay. The owners were super friendly and supplied a huge amount of snacks and things for Breakfast. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there is a nice restaurant within a couple of hundred metres, so no problem.
Room was big and clean, and very close to the start of the hiking trail going up the mountain, which was excellent.

No way to get inside to check in. Supposedly we were sent a code and room number to let ourselves in. We didn’t receive anything and then noticed a vague sign on the door directing us to download What’s App for this information. The whole check-in process was sketchy and very inconvenient.

If you don't mind walking 15 min a bit uphill, not steep, from the train station (past a small market) this is a great option. Missed my train to Monserrat and stayed here. It was a gem really. Clean, coffee maker in room, excellent shower, comfortable bed. Another 12 min to rack railway. Arrived after 7pm, hotel restaurant was closed but owner had reached out on Whatsapp with code for entry (phone number on door). Thank you!!!! Great option for price. Would stay again.

Great place to stay for visiting Montserrat. Nice host, basic needs met, easy walk to local bar for dinner. Easy to drive up mountain from here.

The accommodations were fine. It was good to walk around town, but unfortunately due to the time of the year we could only find 1 restaurant open for dinner.
It was strange to have to communicate via WhatsApp with the hotel as that's an app that we normally don't use, and an "unofficial channel". We arrived earlier than what we intended to, and had to call via WhatsApp to get a code to the door. Finally the instructions to the room where quite confusing, we needed to go all the stair flights, and all we found were closed doors without signs; behind one of those closed doors there was a corridor full of rooms.
The included breakfast wasn't good, we ended up picking up something on our way to the next destination.

Perfect location
We stayed here as the closest town to Montserrat. We wished we allocated two days instead of one. The hotel was in the perfect location. Loved the small town. Our host was very accommodating, lending us an adapter. We would return

Nous avions séjourné dans cet hotel il y a 5 ans et avions été pleinement satisfaits.
Aujourd'hui cet établissement ne correspond plus en rien à la description faite sur ce site ni aux photos.
Pas d'accueil. Plus de restaurant. Le petit déjeuner doit être pris sur le palier. (Voir photos). Bien que propre la chambre est très petite et mal meublée et ne correspond en rien aux photos du site ni à celle que nous avions eu il y a 5 ans. Hotel finalement hors de prix pour la qualité de la prestation.

Sheets and towels were clean and plenty of hot water. Walls were thin and other guests were noisy. More of a hostel than a hotel.
