Can't fault this place. Beautiful throughout. Food amazing, decor stunning, yoga classes were fab and I had an awesome massage in the spa. Our room was really spacious too. The place only has 15 rooms so it always feels very intimate and calm. There's a "sharing table" for those who want to chat at mealtimes but there's no pressure and you don't feel weird eating alone reading a book or just being. The staff are super friendly and bend over backwards to help you. This was my second visit and I hope to go again

The perfect place to unwind, detox, reset and relax. We did the fitness retreat and really enjoyed the mix- yoga, pilates, hikes, massage etc The food was fabulous- option to totally detox or to eat 'actual food'. Alos option for a glass of wine. We wrestle a couple but most people were on their own and it felt very safe with the option to socialise if wanted An excellent retreat, handy for Malaga airport

Wonderful staff/service and delicious food
Ever so friendly staff and delicious food. The hotel was hit with significant rains which affected the feeling in the property ever so slightly. Missing some small additional comforts such as chairs in the bedrooms and more readily available sauna. The steam room was closed for refurbishment too. We paid for room and breakfast only which was far more affordable than a retreat available on the website. Classes are quite pricey but the yoga was worth it. Some hikes to do independently would have been ideal!

Mi hijo me ha llevado a éste sitio tan bonito para enseñar, dónde puedo hacer un retiro. No nos han dejado entrar en la terraza para tomar algo, porque hemos llevado nuestro perro de agua español, que es antialérgico y no molesta a nadie. Pensaba que es un sitio espiritual y hablan mucho de "holístico", pero estoy decepcionada. El perro es parte de la familia y ha sido sólo para informarme sobre el sitio. No para alojarme con él. Acepto las normas, pero este comportamiento inflexible me parece desproporcionado para un lugar espiritual. En todas las terrazas en España normalmente aceptan perros. No volveré y no lo recomendaré.

I recently stayed at Shanti Som Marbella Wellbeing Retreat, and I absolutely loved it. The staff were amazing—so friendly, helpful, and always there when you needed them. As someone who went solo, I felt very safe the whole time. The whole place is spotless, and my room was great—really clean and comfortable. The overall vibe of the retreat is so calm and peaceful, which made it easy to relax and just unwind. I slept so well. The food was a big highlight. Every meal was made fresh and delicious, especially the lunches. I took part in the yoga and meditation classes, which were both really good, however the stand-out was the breath work class. It was my first time trying it, and I couldn’t believe how powerful it was—such an amazing experience. By the time I left, I felt completely relaxed and like I’d cleared my head. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Wow what a lovely spa retreat in the hills of Monda, Spain. I had a two night stay on my own and have come away feeling very chilled and relaxed 👌 The whole team from reception, restaurant and Spa where very friendly, helpful and nothing was to much trouble. My spa treatments were excellent and my massage on the last day was one of the best I have ever had! I will definitely be going back. Thank you Shanti Som for a very memorable stay 👌
