This was, without question, the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. We had stopped at this hotel on a previous occasion and had a lovely time however ...... We informed the hotel earlier in the day that we would be arriving late (around 10:30 p.m.), and were assured it wouldn’t be an issue. We were told the side door would be open and the key would be left on the desk. When we arrived at 11:30 p.m., the building was completely locked up. We called the provided number several times but got no response. Desperate, we knocked and called out until eventually a woman—who turned out to be the owner—shouted from a window and came to the door. Instead of a welcome or apology, we were immediately met with hostility. She aggressively questioned us and created a very tense atmosphere. In trying to open the locked door, my wife cut her finger. When the owner finally opened the door, she looked down at my wife and said, “Don’t drop blood on the floor.” My wife grabbed a nearby towel to try to stop the bleeding, and shockingly, the owner accused her of trying to steal it. She then threatened to call the police—all of this well past midnight, while we were just trying to check in and deal with an injury. We were asked to leave the property immediately with no real explanation, leaving me to find a place to sleep elsewhere, the entire experience was stressful, humiliating, and totally unnecessary. The owner obviously has problems when dealing with people and I recommend she leaves her personal problems at home when working in the hospitality business. I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel if you expect even basic hospitality or respect. There are far better and safer options elsewhere.

The most shocking hotel experience I have ever had. We got message to say our keys are left at the reception, when we got there at midnight all the doors were locked. We were calling the phone number provided, but nobody picked up. I tried to open the gate and cut my hand very badly. Then I started to bang on the gate and finally this old German woman opened the door. I thought she was a guest as was in her pyjamas. She had zero personal skills and shouting at us because of the noise we were making when we were trying to get in. I was crying and i was bleeding heavily, she said you bleeding everywhere and I don't want you here. I asked her who she was and she said, im the owner. I was in shock as I was expecting an apology and help with my injury, but she just stood there looking dwn on me, being horrible becuase we woke her up. When I grabbed a towel to stop the bleeding, she started shouting that I'm steeling and started to video me. She said she will call the police and kicked us out. This woman clear has no idea how to run a hotel, zero people skills or empathy. She is rude and aggressive. She ruined our holiday as we had nowhere to go in the middle of the night and everything was covered in blood. Absolutely shocking experience! Stay away, unprofessional, rude and understaffed!

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We were told that our keys would be left at the reception, but when we arrived around midnight, all doors were locked. We called the contact number multiple times with no answer. In trying to open the gate, I injured my hand badly. Eventually, someone opened the door — an older woman in pajamas, who I initially assumed was a guest. She was upset about the noise we made trying to get in and, to my shock, said she was the owner. Instead of offering help or showing concern about my injury (I was visibly bleeding), she became confrontational and told us we couldn’t stay. When I grabbed a towel to stop the bleeding, she accused me of stealing and started filming us. She threatened to call the police and told us to leave the property. We were left outside, injured, in the middle of the night with nowhere to go. It was extremely distressing and completely ruined our trip. I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

On arrival, we called the buzzer , no reply after waiting several minutes for the gates to open, after buzzing in and calling the international number to open the gates. The hotel was literally in darkness and no one to be seen. The Manager met us and showed us to our room. The extractor fan cover was in the bathroom was on the floor. But the bathroom was modern. No tea making facility either. We found our way to the dining room. A group of weight loss retreat were having breakfast, which was meagre with a coffee machine that wasn’t great with a bowl of stagnant water in the sink. It became clear unless you are in a retreat there is literally nothing to do. The Hamman was unfinished. The pool was grubby with broken tiles. Our room door handle had to be pulled hard to open, the manager showed my daughter as he said ‘you’re on your own at night .’ This was a well needed holiday . So we had no option but to leave the first day. The manager seemed run of his feet , trying his best , with no support. When we said we were leaving , We asked for a taxi and were told to call our own.I messaged the hotel when we left, expressing our disappointment to no avail, as there was no response! This hotel was extremely over rated. It’s a hard 1-2 star B&B from us. We will never return . Nor recommend it. Early check in was the only good thing to say. I have never had to leave a hotel and incur charges to stay elsewhere. The best decision was to leave . We found a fabulous hotel to stay in after we left . Disappointed. This hotel needs an injection of investment to earn a 4*.

Wonderful experience meeting lovely people. Very helpful friendly staff, beautiful peaceful setting, gorgeous healthy food. Dr Eva made us all feel very welcome and at home and Sylvia gave us great yoga lessons with fantastic morning outings and fun sea swims after our evening yoga lessons. Perfect

Wonderful yoga retreat at this lovely boutique hotel. The yoga teacher Sylvia Ferguson was fabulous. Patient and kind and providing so much variety from yoga to breath play and meditation. The food was excellent home made Burgers, fish, chicken and lots of fruit and vegetables , healthy and with plenty of choice for breakfast. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would go back for another retreat.

This place is simply VIP class, what a place! From the moment you arrive you dont want to leave! The check in was so special, with Tiago showing us around and letting us choose our room. The facilities are incredible as is the food. A special mention to Vesna who looked after us throughout our stay and was incredible. The added bonus was Divo the pet donkey who wanders the orchard. What a character!! Simply, I dont say this lightly, the best hotel I have ever stayed in. So classy, so friendly and outstanding food and amenities. A gem of a place and we will be back soon
