Bannisters Pavilion Mollymook

We had a lovely stay here for my birthday with a delicious dessert for dinner! The food was lovely and the service and ambience was great, even though it was busy during the NSW school holidays. We loved our room and were able to see a beautiful sunrise from the balcony. The pool area was lovely.

Nice place One of those trips to tick off the list. Dinner at the Rick Stein restaurant. We stayed at the Pavillion. Very comfy, a little dated now, needs USB points in the room. Main bar and restaurant top notch. Area is nice.

Quiet, clean and tidy. Very spacious. Loved the convenience of return shuttle to Rick Steins restaurant.

The foyer of the hotel is excellent; very airy, bright and modern as we were greeted with a smile and efficiency at the front desk upon being presented with our key. We were advised that we were entitled to some free champagne but politely declined. The room itself was a good size and modern. The king bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities basic and clean. All of the other amenities were present as expected including robes, cutlery and a working fridge. This was a last minute booking so we were able to get a discounted price on our room which was on the first floor at the back of the hotel. There is greenery with eucalyptus trees to be viewed but, once out on the balcony, you are aware that there are car spaces below which are somewhat detracting. However, it was quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately, the number of car spaces under the hotel are very limited with some reserved for the penthouses, others for electric cars only and disabled spots meaning there might be ten for other cars at best. There are some tight parking spaces at the back (as mentioned above) but these were also full so we had to use the uncovered car park next door. I'm not sure if this is public car park or part of Bannisters? Upon checking out we noticed that a quirky coffee cart was open just outside the main entrance where we purchased lattes and banana bread. Overall a good stay but a couple of improvements/changes are required.

Booked for dinner on Sunday night and had no notice when booking it was live music night. Performer was fine but volume was way way too loud. We asked to be moved but there was no escape from the volume. We asked for the volume to be reduced multiple times but was told it was ‘up to the performer’ and she needed to have the volume that loud. Sorry but your priorities are all wrong Bannisters Pavillion Bar and Grill. The response from all staff up to management was totally inadequate. We will not be dining with you again and will dissuade others.
