J'ai adoré l'écrin de nature autour du château, la présence de l'eau et surtout des oiseaux qui ont été extrêmement apaisants. Le calme et la chaleur du château m'ont transporté. J'ai aimé les petites attentions, le confort "cocon" des pièces communes et pouvoir déambuler à l'extérieur sur le domaine. Les personnes à l'accueil du château et au service du restaurant ont été très chaleureuses et compétentes. Les menus du Chef sont un vrai voyage gastronomique et enfin le petit-déjeuner très varié était délicieux. Côté SPA, le massage et l'expérience "détente" avec mon compagnon ont été parfaits ! Merci infiniment, grâce à vous mon anniversaire a été parfait !

Nous sommes venus passer un court séjour en couple dans l'établissement et avons également profité des thermes. Nous avons passé un moment vraiment hors du temps, choyés et dans un environnement d'une grande qualité, sans superflu, juste parfait.

Deuxième expérience dans cet hôtel. Sans être décevante loin de là, elle fut moins extraordinaire que la première. La chambre dans le bâtiment annexe est moins bien finie, bien que très grande. Décoration de la réception moins soignée. La propriétaire que décorait l'hôtel de ses trouvailles est décédée et hélas cela se ressent. Soyez rassuré, il est toujours digne de la chaîne relais châteaux

Nous avons découvert pour la première fois la Maison lors d'un week-end début novembre 2024. Nous avons été agréablement surpris par la beauté du lieu, autant par les espaces intérieurs (la chambre, le bar, la salle de petit déjeuner, les différents salons) que par les espaces extérieurs (les jardins, la piscine, le toit terrasse qui offre une vue magnifique sur les montagnes). Nous tenons également à remercier l'ensemble du personnel pour leur attention, l'équipe a su rendre cette expérience personnalisée et unique. En conclusion, nous recommandons vivement le Château de Riell qui offre une parenthèse hors du temps dans un environnement somptueux au cœur de la nature.

The chateau is extraordinary. Beautiful location, magical, comfortable room, incredible view. The staff was lovely and helpful. Small details and quirks to make our stay memorable. However, we would not eat at the restaurant again. It's more looks than taste - sure, the dishes that come out look beautiful, but the food itself was just okay. More than that, we had awful service - truly it tarnished our experience, unfortunately. Our waitress didn't explain the menu or what to expect, the menu itself (especially the dessert menu) was unclear and when we asked for clarity she pretty much humiliated us in front of the restaurant, raising her voice and shouting at us. Truly it is beyond my comprehension why someone like that would work in the service industry, and it's too bad.

There are no complaints about the hotel except for it should be classified at 4*. There is a lack of amenities and srrvices to qualify as a 5*. Also the breakfast doesn't live up to that. Staff was very friendly, the location is picturesque and the building and rooms beautiful.
