Wow. What a great find. Stayed one night only. An utterly charming experience. Absolutely top quality in every respect.

We had booked and paid to stay here for 3 nights but we left after 1 night because there is absolutely nothing in Turda. We struggled to find anywhere that was open where we could eat on the first night. We had booked a specific room which we were told wasn’t available because of an electricity problem but the rest of the hotel seemed OK - I am not convinced there was a problem. They claim to have some private parking spaces but they were all taken by locals so we had to park in some little back street. We were eventually put in the Professor’s room after rejecting the room that was offered because it had the bath in the bedroom. The room was OK but was very dark. The bathroom was very small and each time we used the shower the floor was covered in water. Breakfast is completely self service and it taken at one communal table.

Home away from Home, A quite place in downtown Turda, with a countryside feeling once you enter the most peaceful,gorgeous garden and ur beautiful room. Healthy breakfast, great coffee and desserts at La Pappion Cafe.
