Ndlovu Safari Lodge

A very Big Thank you to the incredible staff at Ndlovu Safari Lodge 🐘 We had the most spectacular experience! We managed to see the Big 5 thanks to our wonderful Ranger April. With his knowledge and leadership skills we were ensured of front row seats for all our sightings! the staff couldn’t do enough for us and catered to our every need! The suites are perfect, privacy, luxury and every comfort you can think of. Thank you for making my husbands birthday so special and memorable! We will be back! 🤩❤️👏🏻 10/10 rating!

I can’t say anything negative whatsoever. From the moment we arrived every single person at Ndlovu couldn’t do enough for us. From the cleanliness to the food to the friendliness every single aspect of our trip was just perfect. My daughter was ill when we were there and the care and attention from everyone there was so heartwarming. I’d give anything to go back and really hope I do one day. Thank you all for everything. ❤️

The people working at Ndlovu are what makes it such an unforgettable experience. Our guide, April, was the perfect guide in every way. The chef and kitchen staff do an incredible job and the variety of meals is impressive. The rooms are huge and are very private , own pool, stunning view, with every need being catered for. The service at the lodge is just next level. Such a relaxing weekend

My 9 year old son would like to give Ndlovu a 5 star rating. We had the most memorable, life changing experience there. The suite we stayed in was absolutely wonderful. Fluffy towels, big comfy beds, outdoor shower (epic). Babbons in the trees to wake you up (still epic!). The food cooked by Nicholas and Peter was divine and nothing was out of the question. All so fresh. Lerato and George were the perfect hosts. Looking after the children and showing them all the animals we didn’t know were there. And April our ranger guide was the most wonderful man. Such amazing knowledge and information on all the animals and plants and where to find them. Best tracker ever. We loved our stay and want to return immediately.

This was truly a beautiful experience, from start to finish. I would so highly recommend coming here and when we come back to Welgevonden, we will definitely come back here. The lodge is beautifully kept, designed, adorned, you really feel very good here. There is a water hole just in front of the eating area so you can see animals there while you eat! The team, starting from the Manager, the cooks, the staff, and the rangers are such warm, inviting and big hearted people, everything about our stay here was perfect. There was not one thing that could have been better. The level of care is just what you want. Cleanliness and service was superb. Food is delicious, the cooks are amazing and April our guide was so experienced and in tune with the reserve and the animals, he is a wealth of knowledge and he intuitively moves through the reserve, it was amazing. Saw the big 5, and more. We really could not have had a better time. Thanks team Ndlovu! see you next time!

What an amazing experience! We were cared after every second of our stay. The rooms are beautiful, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and the food was just perfect. Thanks to Sanet & her wonderful team. You guys really went the extra mile to make our weekend a little more special!

Spectacular service!! Guide Steven did a wonderful job as did Chef Nicholas, George, and David and the rest of the staff. Made us feel special!! We left feeling very spoiled and like we had made new friends! Everything was first-rate!! Very highly recommend!!! A MUST!!

Where should I begin.. When arriving at camp Ndlovu, we were overwhelmed with a feeling of tranquility. This place is so beautiful and secluded. From the verranda you can look directly at passing animals and monkeys sitting in the trees. The rooms were decorated in beautiful style, fully equipped with goodies, drinks and even with spare travel outlets. Camp Ndlovu has a very friendly staff, from the chef and kitchen staff to the manager and the ladies from the spa(who really give good massages!) The ranger during our stay, named Steven, was a very energetic and humorous person, with a lot of experience in the bush. A very good driver, lots of fun when the hills were steep! We did see a lot of wildlife in the few days we stayed at Welgevonden. The food.. half of our family is vegetarian. Although the chef and kitchen staff cooked great meat dishes for the carnivores among us, the vega part was sublime. Don't expect just 'pasta with a sauce', the chef prepared varied and healthy vegetarian meals for us. All with fresh and nutritional ingredients. We had a great but too short stay at camp Ndlovu, we certainly want to come back at this place!

Flawless! The facilities, staff and food were outstanding. The attention to detail is exceptional. Our ranger was skilled, experienced, knowledgable, and obliging. The manager was attentive and efficient. Camp Ndlovu is possibly the best game lodge I have visited.
