Popular Modena 4-star Hotels

It is a very well-located hotel, right in the ”heart” of Modena. It's in the ZTL zone, not to worry, the staff were very vigilant & assisted with the ZTL coupon which was valid for the stay. The hotel is a bit ”old”, so don't expect much, however, the rooms are nicely furnished. Mattresses are firm to my liking and there is enough toiletries. Breakfast was sumptuous! A delicious spread & of high quality. Note as the hotel is a bit old, don't expect top grade elevators - they are narrow, and the rooms a bit ”hollow”. Opens up to the balcony with excellent ”minor” view of the basilica. However, sound travels and you can hear the next door neighbour if they speak loudly or slam the door. Parking, however, is a nightmare, as expected of this very narrow town. No fault of the hotel itself. You can find parking nearby, may have to walk 5-6 mins. The excellent English speaking Reception/Check In Staff will assist with that & all my questions were answered.

I just got back from a work trip and had to write a review. This hotel is amazing, the staff were wonderful and honestly delivered the best customer service I have ever come across. Rooms very spacious with a great powerful shower. Breakfast is a must! So much choice and tasted great. The man working at the bar who recommended the local wine was very happy and even with me not speaking Italian, he served me with a smile and the nicest wine I have tasted. I would not hesitate in booking to stay here again and I’m looking forward to my next work trip so I can come back and use the spa facilities again!

It is the best hotel in the local area on Ctrip. The quilt of Suite 101 is not very comfortable, the bedroom and bathroom have no windows, there is a living room with windows, it feels stuffy. It is within walking distance of the Ferrari Museum and the Maserati Museum, and it is also within walking distance from the town center.

It is very close to Modena Station, so it is very convenient at the same time. It is very easy to travel on the same day when traveling to Modena because the station is close. It's hard to catch a taxi in the early morning or early morning, but the station is close, so it's easy to get to the hotel without a taxi. Cleanliness and facilities breakfast are also good among nearby hotels. Parking is also available. Very satisfied.

We have stayed here a view of times after giving it 5 stars a couple of years ago. Just to say it's still a very good hotel, and this time of the year it's even cheaper. Do not miss the restaurant. The locals use it, what could be better recommendation. So an easy 5 stars again.

Albergo dalla posizione eccellente vicinissimo al centro storico di Modena in cui passeggiare e banchettare ma con i comfort di una sistemazione lontana dalla confusione e dalla folla, in primis il posto-auto. My husband and I booked two rooms here with a friend for one night when we were going to Osteria Francescana in May 2024. I loved this B&B so much that I wish we had stayed another night. If we ever go back to Modena, this is where we will stay. The room: The room was absolutely beautiful and very unique with high ceilings, a beautiful Murano glass chandelier, and a well appointed bathroom. The view looked out over a beautiful courtyard that was lit up with lovely lights in the evening. The air conditioning was excellent. The service: The service was excellent. We got in later than expected due to heavy rains and trouble getting a taxi, but Benedetta stayed 30 minutes late to wait for us so she could make sure to tell us about the area, hotel, and let us grab some fruit and pastries since we were leaving early the next morning. She was extremely kind and friendly - one of the nicest people we met during our month in Italy. The location: We picked this hotel because of its proximity to Osteria Francescana (it’s literally across the street, like a one minute walk), but it’s also walking distance to several shops and restaurants - we wish we had stayed longer to explore. I can’t recommend this place enough - it was amazing and very affordable (less than 200 euro per night for our room, and 130 euro per night for our friend’s room) especially compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Italy.

Stayed here with a friend for 4 nights in July 2022 and had the best time. We were exploring the area for its food. The staff at the hotel made our stay - they were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble from booking tours to printing directions for us. It was all low key but efficient and friendly. They did it in such a way that we felt like ‘real’ guests rather than ‘hotel’ guests. The pool was a lovely bonus and the location perfect for exploring by car. Just 15 mins to Modena and 45 mins Bologna Airport. I loved this hotel - the facilities were fine but way we felt whilst staying there was very special.

This is a conviently located historic building with secure parking. In short it was everything we were looking for. It's an upscale business hotel. Breakfast totally adequate. The hotel seems to be making some major upgrades. We'll be sure to come back next time we are in the area
