Inca Inn Moab

everything from the frayed welcome rug to the filthy filter of the a/c passing thru the rumbling fan in bath and the "plastic" linens is humble and neglected they post a warmy message to invite to stay in touch with the staff but never answered to several inquiring mails we sent there're plenty of options in moab no reason to stay at inca inn

On September 10, 2025 a reservation was booked for two at Inca Inn via TripAdvisor and the website indicated the hotel had a pool and free continental breakfast. Upon arriving to the hotel there was a note on the lobby door at 570 North Main Street directing hotel guests to check in at the hotel located at 512 North Main Street (pic). Upon checking in it was discovered Inca Inn no longer has an operational pool or offers a free breakfast yet there are informational flyers on the tables outside of the hotel rooms listing the hours for the pool and breakfast (pic). A room key was obtained and there is assigned parking spots based on your room number. When trying to park in the assigned parking spot it was discovered our car would be blocking another hotel guest’s car. I walked back to 512 North Main Street to discuss this issue and the employee suggested a parking spot next to the street so I asked for another room but was informed other rooms would cost more. At this point I asked for a refund / cancel our room but was informed since it was booked through TripAdvisor that was not an option. We ended up parking in the corner of the hotel parking lot between two assigned parking spots (pic). Upon entering our room, it was discovered there was only one towel for two guests. I tried calling the phone number for Inca Inn but no one answered so I walked a third time to 512 North Main Street to obtain another towel and obtained a contact phone number. We ended up using one towel on the corner bench, as it appeared dirty, prior to placing luggage on it. Additional issues include the privacy door latch being broken (pic), the light on the wall above the television did not work (wall light switch would not even move up or down), and discovered sand on the bedsheets. It is perplexing how this hotel can have a 4.4 star rating on TripAdvisor. TripAdvisor was contacted due to incorrect amenities listed on their website and once screen shots were submitted proving this partial compensation was received.
