I used this hotel for a trip home to attend a memorial service. I made a reservation for a smoking room, but the smell of tar was so strong that even I, a smoker, had to hold my breath for a moment. However, there was a bottle of Lysol in each room, so I used it on the curtains, futon, and carpet, and opened the window to ventilate, and it got much better. I think it would have made a big difference if they had opened the window a little before the scheduled check-in time. This is the reason for the one star minus. Although the facilities themselves feel old, they were well-cleaned, and the bathroom in particular was mold-free and could be used with peace of mind. There are amenities provided in the room and those that can be borrowed from the front desk. Is it basically a first-come, first-served basis? What I found interesting was the shampoo buffet. In addition to the rinse-in-shampoo and body soap in the room, there is shampoo, conditioner, and body soap in front of the elevator, and you can transfer the ones you like to a cup and take them with you. I used the shampoo I usually use. It might be a good idea to try a shampoo you want to try. Breakfast is free. There was rice, miso soup, and a few types of side dishes, but it was enough. The cafeteria staff was also cheerful and kindly helped me prepare the meals, which I appreciated. The cleaning staff also greeted me cheerfully. I guess it was worth the price. I didn't have high expectations for the service from the staff, but the front desk staff were attentive and attentive, and I was able to spend a comfortable time there. The location may be a little difficult to find if you're not a local, but it's close to the downtown area and convenience stores, and it's behind the prefectural hospital, so I think it would be good for people accompanying hospitalized patients.
