The manager at Makan Hill could not be more helpful! he is very friendly and super helpul with assisting you with any issues outside the hotel. All staff are very friendly. The hotel its self is spacious, clean and comfy. The dining options were limited as there wasnt much available from the menu (i dont know whether this is due to the time of the year or not - January) But we did struggle to have different meals. Drinks are cheap, service is good, always cleaning up after you with bottles and plates. Security always on site, gated community hotel, lovely gardens, very quiet, about a ten minute walk down the path to the main road where there are a few shops. we were offered a late check out until we needed for free as our flight home was later in the evening, so we really appreciated this too! Definitely would stay again!

Great place to stay! Nice rooms, great service, and good food. There’s a road behind the hotel that’s nice to walk on as well. I would definitely stay here again.

The accommodations here are clean and comfortable and the grounds are lovely. You can see a lot of beautiful birds (Hornbills and Turaco) while hanging out comfortably in the courtyard. This is a good venue for a conference or event or if you are passing through. The staff are courteous and professional. There was bottled water provided in the rooms. The food was very good (the pizza was the best that we ate in Uganda). This is not a touristy town, but you can safely walk around.

Arrived in Mityana late needing a hotel for one night. Given a warm welcome. Room was excellent – spacious, two nice chairs, desk, good bed, good shower. Was able to get a good meal in the restaurant and a good breakfast in the morning. Quiet location. The place to come if I return to Mityana.

very nice place and what I loved the most was the workers over there. they were so nice especially Allen I would definitely be coming back to this place. The chef was very nice any time I wanted my fruit or anything else to be cut he was willing to do it, and the ladies who served us food every time were honest and kind. workers over there will ask if our room needs to be cleaned without me asking them. Overall I did not suspect anybody with a bad attitude everyone was very welcoming with a smile on their faces.

Worst service ever. We booked the hotel 3 months in advance. 4 rooms in total. We received a phone call at 10pm the night before we arrived telling us that they were cancelling the booking as other guests had decided to stay longer. The rude manager then proceeded to just hang up the call! Anyone wishing to stay in Mityana should go to Enro. Much better staff, service, rooms, location and environment. They were very accommodating and provided everything they said they would. Avoid this hotel at all costs!
