Hotel Indigo Minneapolis Downtown

Absolutely the best experience! Can’t wait until we can have another stay there. Madison who worked the front desk was so kind and amazing!

Was a really nice peaceful amazing experience.. hotel was clean, personal excelente.. the restaurant food and service delicious we had an amazing time thanks to this wonderful hotel .. the room was perfect .. just the pillows was not not completely confortable.. but everything else was amazing

I’m giving this hotel one star, and the only reasons it's not zero are the convenient location and the kind housekeeper who helped me navigate a luggage cart around a crowded hallway. Unfortunately, those were the only positives in an otherwise very disappointing stay. We were told we’d be able to check in early at noon, so we structured our entire day around that. When we arrived, however, we were abruptly informed that early check-in wasn’t possible and that we’d need to come back at the standard 3 p.m. time. The most frustrating part? The same front desk staff who made the promise was now being rude and dismissive about it, offering no apology or explanation. If early check-in wasn’t available, fine—but don’t tell guests it is and then act like it’s their fault for believing you. The room itself was clean and had a decent view, but that's where the positives end. We had to call down for extra towels, as there weren’t enough for our group. The TV remote didn’t work. The complimentary soap had a very unpleasant smell, so I’d recommend bringing your own toiletries. Minor inconveniences, sure—but things that add up. What really pushed this experience into “never again” territory was the issue with toilet paper. Our room had one *partially used* roll and no backups. I discovered this around 4 a.m. and went down to the front desk, assuming they could simply hand me a roll. Instead, I was met with a baffled stare, as if I had asked him to give me his car keys or something. The man told me someone would bring it to our room. I politely requested that they just leave it outside the room and not knock on the door as not to wake my friends. Again, I was treated like I had asked him something crazy. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to not want to wake up my friends at 4 a.m.. He said the toilet paper would be up in 15 minutes. I waited 15 minutes. Then 20. Then 30. Nothing. I gave up and went back to bed, expecting it to be there in the morning. It wasn’t. When my friend went down 2 hours later to request toilet paper *again*, the staff was once again rude—and even blamed *me* for the mix-up. Over *toilet paper*. One thin, single-ply roll. It was honestly absurd. I felt like I was being punked or something. I’ve received far better service at roadside motels in the middle of nowhere. I’m generally very laid-back and rarely write reviews, but this experience crossed the line. Being misled by staff, treated with open hostility, and made to feel like a burden for asking for something as basic as toilet paper is unacceptable—especially at a hotel that claims to offer a higher standard of service. They say people in Minnesota are known for being “Minnesota Nice,” but there was nothing nice, helpful, or hospitable about the staff here. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very fun interior design

The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and neat. We were impressed with the complimentary robes. The shower/bathroom was clean and towels were fluffy. We were on the 12th floor and had an amazing view of the city.
