Sonder at Modi

The apartment was clean and neat but did not match the online picture..no throw pillows, rugs or accessories like in the pictures. I was here for a week with one set of sheets and towels. The fan was super loud. The kitchen was really basic but was missing storage containers for food, vacuum, and clearly was stocked by someone who doesn’t cook. They had a pizza cutter but nothing to cook a pizza on. The location was great and the coop food next door really made it simple. The bedroom had four hangers in the closet and no blanket just a large heavy comforter. I agree with the other evaluations for 4-5 on location, cleanliness and amenities but for long stays with someone who cooks, this is not a good place unless they add some more items to the kitchen.

This place gets 2 stars for location and lots of natural light. Street parking is not great, partly because Lyndale is very busy. The apartment was dingy because it looks like the walls got primed but never painted- kinda gray and streaky. The garbage disposal, under cabinet lights and 2 outlets didn't work. We had 3 towels but only 2 washcloths. Furniture was cheap and worn, Chromecast didn't work, there were no hangers in the closet and the bed was rock hard. Finally, the place smelled of cumin or someone's terrible b.o. We've stayed at other Sonders. This was by far the worst.
