Very quiet, staff (which you will not see too often) are very friendly and eager to help in any way. Rooms are very nice and clean.
The only downside that I would mention is that there is no cable TV, only broadcast. That being said I will definitely be staying at Erik's Retreat again. Wonderful experience.

The parking was off site. No one knew anything. Limited staff. It should say on tgere information that it is a non profit.

This is a terrific place with a great location for independent travelers. It is like having your own efficiency apartment (but without a kitchen). I stayed here nearly a week and found it to be incredibly quiet, very clean, and well appointed including soft bathrobe, toiletries, Keurig, and mini-fridge. Bed and pillows are super comfy, shower is hot and strong. Very happy to support the individuals that this non-profit helps. You have to pay up front and all communication with staff is via email or phone, I didn't see or meet anyone in the building but I also didn't need or request the housekeeping service they provide. Only downside is that parking is about 1.5 blocks down the street in a shared lot. NBD if you're mobile. I will definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend and I cannot say enough good things! Clean, spacious, quiet rooms, good location close to restaurants/shops and best of all this business supports such a great cause! The staff was friendly and helpful, we will definitely stay here every time we visit the cities. Wine in the room and a light breakfast each morning included. Fantastic!

Tough beginning, but got much better
I had some difficulty with the contactless check-in, which was upsetting. Once I got into the hotel and the room, it was a lovely facility. The room in particular was beautiful, very large, and extremely well-kept.
