It's okay. Asking the front desk to call a taxi is a trap. It's best to use Uber yourself. It's more reliable for us Chinese people.

Nice hotel in the center of Minneapolis. There’s even a Starbucks Coffee inside!

This place is a joke. It is a literal maze to enter the lobby. So much fun carrying luggage up and down stairs. Finding your room could not be more inconvenient. Parking is in a dark, dangerous lot. The furniture in this room looks like they picked it up from the side of the street. Book elsewhere. This place is awful.

I have never had an experience like I did at this hotel. I was attending a seminar and took my 10 year old with me. She stayed in the room during the seminar and the two of us have fun in the evenings. When her phone died, I call the hotel to have me transferred to our room. A nasty woman responded, "we don't do that" "if she is your daughter she should answer her phone." And hung up on me twice. From there it only got worse. It is honestly the ONLY hotel I have left early because of their front desk's staff. Not only do they have unpleasant staff, but no management on site or getting to the site anytime soon. As least that was what the nasty woman "Jay" advised me. Not only was the customer service sub par, but the hotel itself was old, dirty, and had no restaurant, bar, or food available. My firm was paying for the room and sent in the necessary paperwork 3 weeks in advance, but the hotel still charged my personal card twice the amount of the room. It was a bizarre experience all around. I would not recommend this hotel to my least favorite person!

Disappointing Experience – Would Not Return I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights while attending a work meeting, along with several coworkers (a group of 7 total, each with individual rooms). Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from start to finish. We were surprised to find that there were no food options available onsite. We had been told there was a bar, but it turned out to be a temporary pop-up in the basement that felt more like hanging out at a friend’s house than a hotel amenity. On the morning of our meeting, we went down to the lobby to gather and were told by another guest that we were being too loud—despite the fact that music playing in the lobby was louder than our conversation. We then headed to the Starbucks inside the hotel, only to find it closed. I asked if there were vending machines to grab a soda or snack, and was told no, but I could walk to Walgreens. Later that day, after returning from work, I noticed a case of water behind the front desk. Since we had already finished the single bottle provided in each room and had no other access to water, we asked if we could have one. While we were given a bottle, we overheard a hotel employee say, “Wow, they cleaned you out.” Seven paying guests requesting one bottle of water each—when there are no other amenities onsite—should not be treated like an unreasonable request. To top things off, at checkout, one coworker asked if the garage scan code would still work after checkout. Instead of a simple, helpful answer, the staff member responded with, “Well, does it have an expiration date and time on it?” When my coworker said she didn’t see one, the staff replied, “Yes it does—it expires at 5:00 p.m.” A simple, direct answer would have sufficed. We travel to Minneapolis frequently and typically need 10+ hotel rooms at a time. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this property. The lack of amenities and the dismissive, unwelcoming attitude from staff made us feel like a burden instead of valued guests. A truly disappointing stay.
