Lovely room, fluffy towels and a fab bath! Breakfast was gorgeous and plentiful, staff friendly and excellent location right on the beach front. Parking on site and really quiet at night, such a lovely little stay, thank you! Bar and coffee available plus nice cakes.

Lovely location nice old building, clean and tidy, good sea view .Staff polite and helpful. Lovely well cooked breakfast. Overall good value for money. Main moan being it was a double room but sadly 2 single beds pushed together each one being individually made and having a single mattress. Limited parking supposed to be 12 spaces but as most people struggle to park sensibly there’s only about 8. Council car park a stones throw though if you don’t mind paying or leaving your car there. Would use again but would make sure it was a double bed.

Super beds and pillows, lovely big room with sea views and overlooking the Minehead heritage railway. Bathroom could do with updating, had to climb into a wide bath to use the shower head, also the knob to use the shower very stiff. Breakfast choices very good, great service, would have liked fresh fruit too.

Had a great stay at the Beach Hotel. We were doing the first day of the south west coast path and the location was perfect for that. We couldn’t get into the car park as it was full, but we found free on-road parking very close by. We were a bit confused when we went in as we couldn’t find Reception - a sign at the desk might be helpful? Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable with a lovely view. We didn’t try the restaurant as we were staying early in the week when it wasn’t open, but breakfast was great. I had bacon in a brioche roll and it was excellent. Everyone was friendly and happy to help and we would definitely stay at the Beach Hotel again.

We first dropped in for coffee and cake. The welcome and service was outstanding and the home made cakes scrumptious. We returned for lunch the next day. The food was served speedily, it was piping hot and the fish pie was amazing. Again, the service, from different staff, was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

We booked the day before arrival and were very pleasantly surprised. Checkin was great...I'd unfortunately booked for 2025...but the receptionist sorted it cheerfully and efficiently. We had an extremely spacious room in the top floor with amazing views of the beach. The bathroom was clean and my inly criticism would be that there is no grab handle and the bath was extremely high to step into for a shorter person !!! A non slip shower mat would also be good. Room servicing was a little haphazard but staff are being trained. Breakfast was good and we also had an evening meal..that was also good. Perhaps they could do more with the lounge area. I would recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Excellent location right across from the beach. We had a seaview room, very large and spacious. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Staff very friendly and always smiling, nothing too much trouble. Could do with grab rails on bath as slippery when getting out. Otherwise perfect.

We had an excellent one night stay, we booked a sea view room which was great The location is perfect directly across from the sea, and next to the steam railway. Rooms are basic, but had everything you need. The car park is small, but there is a public car park next to the hotel £7 for the whole day. Breakfast was cooked fresh, which was delicious, limited buffet choices of cereal and croissants. Fresh juices and tea coffee are available. Great stay, I hope to return.

The Beach Hotel is fine. The bed was comfy but my room had damp marks on the wall, the shower had sellotape on it and the rooms were generally quite noise between floors and walls. Not all of the staff (eg at breakfast) were particularly friendly but some were. The breakfasts were OK - the eggs Benedict sauce was very gloopy and muffins soggy. The sausage sandwich was tasty. So 3 star is about right as the location is excellent and views from the top rooms also really good. NB It can be quite noisy in the mornings (eg I got worked up by the bin lorry/bins one morning)
