O Hotel Belvedere, também conhecido por Pombas Brancas, fica situado numa zona alta e sossegada, com uma excelente vista sobre a cidade e baia do Mindelo. Fomos num grupo de pessoas amigas dos Açores, com o objetivo de ver o famoso Carnaval em São Vicente, como é cantado pela linda música da grande Cesária Évora, São Vicente é um Brasilin, cheio de alegria e de cor. Apesar de ficar meia hora a pé do centro de Mindelo, facilmente se vai de táxi ou carrinha por um preço de 2€. Os quartos têm varanda com uma vista soberba para toda a baía do Mindelo e ficam viradas a poente permitindo observar um excelente pôr do sol. Além disso as pessoas que trabalham no Hotel são muito simpáticas e sempre prontas a qualquer solicitação. O Grupo, adorou e coloca a hipótese de repetir.

Situation exceptionnelle, avec vue sur toute la baie. Toutefois à 25 mn à pied du centre... Taxis faciles à trouver (sauf après carnaval...) et pas cher. Eviter les mini- chambres sans fenêtre...

Exceptional welcome in this charming hotel. The staff is available and ready to answer all our requests (thank you for the daily taxi reservations) The place is quiet and has a breathtaking view of Mindelo. We enjoyed the many sunsets. The rooms are simple but clean and functional. The air conditioning and Wifi work perfectly. The breakfast is simple but plentiful. Thank you for this good stay.

We hebben een goed verblijf gehad en het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Doordat de locatie wat hogergelegen ligt, is het aan te raden met de taxi of auto naar boven te rijden.

Het was een kleine maar fijne moderne hotelkamer met klein balkon voor twee zitjes. Met mooi uitzicht over de stad en de zee. Het zijn kleine gebouwen complexen met hotelkamers. Er is ook een ruim buitenzwembad aanwezig. Wifi was er wel alleen in de lobby en voor het ontbijt wandel je naar een ander gebouw. Ik vond het jammer dat we binnen moesten ontbijten er is maar een hele kleine buitenruimte voor drie tafeltjes. Ik zou dit hotel aanbevelen. Echter niet als je aan het strand op in het centrum wilt verblijven dan is het een hele wandeling naar beneden en ook weer omhoog. Taxi's zijn er voldoende.

Small hot room but nice breakfast.
Nice hotel with outdoor breakfast by the small waterfall/pool, and a great view. Very friendly service.
The bunk bed room we had was very small, I think the bathroom was bigger than the bedroom. No aircondition, so quite hot.

Sehr ruhig gelegenes Hotel. Wir haben Zimmer mit Blick auf Mindelo und Hafen gehabt. Da es über dem Stadt liegt, hat man sehr schöne Blick. Zimmer und Balkon ausreichend groß. Frühstück war ausreichend. Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
