Yuki No Shizuku

The equipment is exquisite and novel, and can even be said to be a bit high-end. The location is right at the north entrance and you can ski in-out. The service staff is friendly and it is definitely worth a second visit!

I stayed one night at Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort to ski. Just walk a few meters from the hotel and you'll be on the slopes. It was a very convenient location. We stayed in a room called ``Yuki no Shizuku'' on the 5th floor. It was an open room with windows on three sides, consisting of a comfortable sofa area, a raised tatami area, a bed area, and a mini-kitchen. The interior has been renovated and reused the beams and chest of drawers from traditional Japanese architecture, and is very nice. The amenities in the room were a little lacking. There were no tissues, just hard paper towels instead. Towels: 1 bath towel and 1 tenugui towel per person. I wish there were at least towels in the toilet and sink. Is it a cost reduction? The hot spring is a small one with four washing areas. It is the size that would be used as a private bath at other hotels. I thought it would be okay since there were only a few rooms, but it was so crowded that there was a queue in front of us and behind us. Moreover, the supply of hot water seemed to be quite limited, and when four people used the washing area at the same time, there was no hot water. I was in trouble because it suddenly turned into water. I was told that there were very few meals available, so I made a reservation for late January in early September, but even though there were plenty of rooms available, I was only able to book a room without meals. It was quite inconvenient that breakfast was not served, let alone dinner. I thought it was a good idea as long as it was a somewhat high-end vacation rental. The location is good, so next time I'd like to stay for consecutive nights on weekdays instead of on weekends and relax.

「細雪」という部屋に2泊しましたが、清潔で広く、とても素敵な部屋でした。旅行の優先順位で、部屋の良さが一番の私にとって何より魅力的なホテルです。 ネット環境も整っており、私はいつも旅行にFirestickを持っていきますが 持ってない人の方が多いと思うので喜ばれるのではないでしょうか。 大浴場は時間が遅くなっても利用できて、部屋数が少ないため誰とも会わず利用できました。少し消毒の匂いが残っているので泉質が一番大事！という人は残念に思うかも。 食事についてですが、これが何とも不思議なと言うか…。 少しアンバランスに感じます。フレンチ？のコースに突然ご飯が飛び込んできます。 炊き立てのご飯が羽釜でテーブルに出てくるので、美味しいに決まってる…けど メインディッシュを食べながら「パンの方が合うよなぁ。ご飯美味しいけど」 と思いつつ頂くことになり、違和感がありました。 美味しいお米食べてほしい！けど、自信のある料理はフレンチ？なのかな。 初日の夕食で出てきたブイヤベースが特に最高でした。 これ、バゲットが足りない！薄い一切れが刺さってるだけなんて悲しい。 そして、何より料理が出てくるのが遅い。 １皿ずつとても丁寧に作られているのでしょうが かなりお酒を飲む人でないと満腹中枢が働いてお腹いっぱいになってしまいます。 長い時は１皿20分！これは流石に遅い。 本格的に時間をかけてフレンチを食べるなら、バゲットでソースをいただきながら ゆっくりとワインを飲んで待つことができますが、それもできないので ワインも1杯でストップ。 お米を出すことにこだわるなら、料理もあと一歩工夫が必要かも。 そしてやっぱりコースのデザートにはコーヒーか紅茶が欲しい。 色々と惜しい食事です。美味しいのに…。 朝はお米とお漬物とお味噌汁があったので、大満足でした。 やっぱり新潟のコシヒカリは最高に美味しいですね。 スタッフさんは、とても物腰柔らかで皆さん優しい方達でした。 つかず離れずのちょうど良い距離感で、親切です。
