The room we booked has to rely on a diesel heater for heating, and the smell is too strong, but not all rooms are like this. It depends on luck. The hot spring is not big, it is open-air, there are few people, and the transportation is not convenient. You have to ask the hotel to call a taxi. You can find a restaurant on foot, but there are not many choices, basically barbecue. Quiet town

The snowy scenery was wonderful.
It's a repurposed old house, and the building has a very historic feel.
Because it's an old building, the hallways are cold, the air conditioning never seems to work, and there's no underfloor heating.
The atmosphere is great.
The interior is stylish, and you can immerse yourself in an unreal space.
The aperitif plum wine is delicious.
It was nice that they used osaji for the amenities.
The biggest problem was that there was no hot water (or cold water) in the shower in the large communal bath, and the bathroom wasn't very warm, so I was freezing cold.
There were many young employees, and I think it would be different if they valued hospitality.
It was unfortunate that there was nail polish dirt from someone who had used it last time on the inside of the hotel's loungewear.
