This hotel is a standard Japanese inn. The whole room is about 100 square meters, with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom and private soup room. According to the administrator, the room can accommodate up to five people. The kitchen can cook by yourself. There are microwave ovens, induction cookers, coffee machines, pots and pans. There are many public and private bath to choose from in this ryokan. Plus you can get the kurokawa onsen pass (tegata) which gives you access to 3 external onsens in the town (most ryokans in town are participating) within one year of purchase of the tegata. We didn’t book dinner at the hotel, and used the diner time to try Nonohana お宿 野の花 and Ryokan Konoyu 黒川温泉 旅館 こうの湯, then next morning before breakfast I went to most of the onsens in the hotel, then after breakfast we checked out and tried Miyama Sanso 山みず木別邸 深山山荘, all four places (including this hotel) have amazing onsens and views. We drove so it was easier for us to try onsens far from the hotel, but driving in town wasn’t the easiest given narrow roads. The parking lot is a few minutes walk from the hotel, we kept the key with us for easy move around.

The hotel is right by the river, with two buildings connected. Generally, the baths for men and women are separated, and there are also family baths, but it seems to be on the men's side. The room is very large, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bedroom has two beds, we can also connect to the yard on the first floor, 1 bedroom is used for tea, and if there are more people, you can add a bed in this room. The bed is 1.2 meters and very comfortable. There are a series of products for washing face, skin care and bathing, which are very useful and complete. The breakfast and dinner are rich and delicious. There are also Chinese and English waiters. But cash is used for checkout

Top notch friendly front desk staffs with smiling face all the time. Service is excellent, they even help me to park my car and take my luggage to the room. My room has a private onsen and it was surprisingly big. The public onsen in the hotel is also very nice particularly the outdoor pool where you can hear natural water flowing sound from the stream below. The dinner was great even though I am not a big fan of horse meat. Cleanliness and tidiness is impressive. Breakfast was in Japanese style, but you can still have a cup of drip filtered coffee. Overall I love this hotel very much and will prefer to stay there if I happen to go there again.

For some reason, the information about this hotel is so limited on Ctrip. If you want to choose a room with indoor and outdoor private hot springs, this is a great choice. The location is not in the town center, but it takes more than ten minutes to walk. There is a car to take you there, and the service is very good. Most rooms in the town center are small in size, and they are not likely to have private hot springs or courtyards. The rooms here are all large. We stayed in a double-story room. The first floor has two private hot springs inside and outside, which are very elegant. There is also a massage chair and a bathroom. The second floor is a tatami bedroom, including a reception area and a small bathroom. The area is very large and the price-performance ratio is good. There is also a large room on the first floor with a private hot spring, which should be a more comfortable choice for living. I want to complain to Ctrip about the food. I have replied in the final confirmation email of the reservation that I do not eat horse, beef and mutton, but I found that I did not receive any information from Ctrip when I arrived at the store. I could only temporarily change to tofu and duck meat, which affected the experience. It rained heavily on the day of check-out. The staff did not hold an umbrella themselves but carried our luggage and held an umbrella for us in the heavy rain. This professional attitude deserves praise. Located in a rural area, the hotel may not offer the convenience of a nearby convenience store, but it serves as an excellent retreat to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The food's presentation is visually pleasing, although its taste is somewhat ordinary. On a positive note, the hotel provides the delightful experience of both indoor and outdoor onsen facilities, which we thoroughly savored.

Два семейных онсена , которые можно занимать, если они свободны. Мужской и женский крытый онсен на 4м этаже и потрясающий мужской и женский онсен на открытом воздухе. Есть так же приватный онсен, который надо бронировать на ресепшене. Мы большую часть времени проводили в открытом онсене, он большой, красивый и в нем не было других людей, кроме нас. Оба раза были очень вкусные завтраки в стиле кайсеки, один ужин также был в стиле кайсеки, второй ужин был барбекю. Отель предоставляет трансфер от автобусной остановки и также обратно при выезде, что очень удобно.
