In Minami-oguni Town, Aso County, Kumamoto Prefecture, there is a small town called Kurokawa Onsen. It is quiet and simple because of the inconvenient transportation. This one is isolated, at the end of the town, deep in the dense forest. It is still a long way from the main street of the hot spring. Between the mountains and rivers, the grass and trees are deep. It is as old as it is old. The external structure and internal materials are basically made of wood, which has a unique flavor. I booked a room with a private bath. It is a stone-built bath pool with wooden window lattices, which has a strong sense of antiquity. I also booked a special six-foot barrel, which is semi-outdoor and full of lush greenery. One stay and two meals, the kaiseki cuisine is amazing, the Japanese service is meticulous, and the experience in the mountains and forests makes people feel relaxed😎. If I come to Kurokawa again, I will want to stay here again.

We drove to Shanhe, the location is very secluded, the old man in the parking lot was waiting with the list of guests checking in that day, and took the luggage to the room. From the moment we changed our shoes when we entered the hotel, we had kneeling service, the staff were young and old, and they were friendly. The environment is beautiful, comfortable and private, very satisfied.

Located at one end of Kurokawa Onsen Town, it is a little far from the town center, but you can use the hotel car to go to and from the town center at any time. It is a member of the Japan Hot Spring Association, and the open-air bath is great!
