Although it was a pet-friendly room, I didn't smell any pet odor the moment I entered the room, and it seemed clean and well-cleaned. The buildings are a certain distance apart, so I was able to relax without hearing the voices or presence of people in other rooms. A plus point is that you can freely use the sauna and hot spring! Please note that the directions from the Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area require you to go through a very narrow road at the end.

This is a small hotel located on the mountain in the Kurokawa Hot Spring area. The environment is quiet and the creek next to the hotel is beautiful. It is convenient for self-driving tours. Large space; the hot spring water has a strong sulfur smell and is hot enough to feel comfortable. Since each room has a private bath, there are no other people in the public baths. The staff has a very good attitude and is very polite from reception, introducing room facilities and serving meals. Breakfast and dinner are served in a private room, and sukiyaki is also available for dinner. The wagyu beef is very tender and melts in your mouth. In addition to sukiyaki, the sashimi and horse sashimi are also very fresh and delicious, making you very filling. The exquisite presentation of the breakfast will whet your appetite. Before leaving, the receptionist offered to take photos for us at the main entrance of the hotel, great! However, if I come to Kurokawa Onsen in winter to see the Kurokawa Onsen Yumei (the famous local light festival), I will choose to stay in a hotel near the visitor center, because it takes 8 hours to drive out from Onyuku Nohana to see the Kurokawa Onsen Yumei. The driving time is 30 minutes. Driving on a narrow mountain road is often dangerous when opposing vehicles have to back up to give way to each other.

This hotel is a standard Japanese inn. The whole room is about 100 square meters, with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom and private soup room. According to the administrator, the room can accommodate up to five people. The kitchen can cook by yourself. There are microwave ovens, induction cookers, coffee machines, pots and pans. The bus arrives, and it is only 90 meters away from Menglongdan. You can go in and contact the waiter. There will be a van to take you to Menglongdan Huabo. The distance between the two sides is very close. There are cars to take you to dinner time and bathing in the evening. Breakfast and dinner are kaiseki cuisine, with many varieties, which is worth experiencing. I wrote so much mainly because I asked Ctrip before. The so-called AI knows nothing about anything. A wonderful Ryokan. There is an onsen for your feet in the yard. Inside there is an onsen with an opening window for a sense of freshness from the street. We lived in a Japanese-style room with futons. The toilet is in the room, and the shower is shared. Also, upon check-in they give you a ticket to the neighboring hotel Yukio no Hibiki Yusai with a very good onsen with two pools, one inside, the second outside almost above the river. Very cozy in the evening to sit and warm up.

The hotel is right by the river, with two buildings connected. Generally, the baths for men and women are separated, and there are also family baths, but it seems to be on the men's side. The room is very large, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bedroom has two beds, we can also connect to the yard on the first floor, 1 bedroom is used for tea, and if there are more people, you can add a bed in this room. The bed is 1.2 meters and very comfortable. There are a series of products for washing face, skin care and bathing, which are very useful and complete. The breakfast and dinner are rich and delicious. There are also Chinese and English waiters. But cash is used for checkout

There are many public and private bath to choose from in this ryokan. Plus you can get the kurokawa onsen pass (tegata) which gives you access to 3 external onsens in the town (most ryokans in town are participating) within one year of purchase of the tegata. We didn’t book dinner at the hotel, and used the diner time to try Nonohana お宿 野の花 and Ryokan Konoyu 黒川温泉 旅館 こうの湯, then next morning before breakfast I went to most of the onsens in the hotel, then after breakfast we checked out and tried Miyama Sanso 山みず木別邸 深山山荘, all four places (including this hotel) have amazing onsens and views. We drove so it was easier for us to try onsens far from the hotel, but driving in town wasn’t the easiest given narrow roads. The parking lot is a few minutes walk from the hotel, we kept the key with us for easy move around.

Top notch friendly front desk staffs with smiling face all the time. Service is excellent, they even help me to park my car and take my luggage to the room. My room has a private onsen and it was surprisingly big. The public onsen in the hotel is also very nice particularly the outdoor pool where you can hear natural water flowing sound from the stream below. The dinner was great even though I am not a big fan of horse meat. Cleanliness and tidiness is impressive. Breakfast was in Japanese style, but you can still have a cup of drip filtered coffee. Overall I love this hotel very much and will prefer to stay there if I happen to go there again.

Два семейных онсена , которые можно занимать, если они свободны. Мужской и женский крытый онсен на 4м этаже и потрясающий мужской и женский онсен на открытом воздухе. Есть так же приватный онсен, который надо бронировать на ресепшене. Мы большую часть времени проводили в открытом онсене, он большой, красивый и в нем не было других людей, кроме нас. Оба раза были очень вкусные завтраки в стиле кайсеки, один ужин также был в стиле кайсеки, второй ужин был барбекю. Отель предоставляет трансфер от автобусной остановки и также обратно при выезде, что очень удобно.
