[Pets allowed] [Beware of animals] I made a reservation because the location overlooks the sea. I thought I understood from the reviews that "there are cats in the hotel", but in reality, "they have about 40 rescued cats" and "there are about 10 cats in the lobby". In fact, the lobby and cat lounge (a space that may have once been a dining room or a lounge for guests) smelled of cats. I do not recommend this hotel for people who do not like animals. I did not check it properly, but the official website said "Pet-friendly rooms available". If you make a reservation without knowing the reviews or official information, or if you do not like animals, you may not have a comfortable stay. I met a guest with a pet in the elevator, but I felt uncomfortable riding with the pet and its owner in the small elevator, so I did not ride the elevator and gave it to them. A guest who likes cats was playing with the cats in the lobby, so I think it is fun as a pet hotel. Animals are not allowed in the restaurant. The accommodation is old-fashioned. It makes sense when you think of it as being from the late Showa era. The amenities and linens also give the inn a Showa retro feel. The location is perfect, right by the sea. The bath seemed to make the most of the limited space. The open-air bath, reminiscent of an infinity pool, was particularly amazing. In conclusion, as long as you don't mind the old facilities and the presence of animals, I think you'll have a great stay.
