Tatsumikan

The bath in the room was broken, so it was a little inconvenient, but other than that I was very satisfied. The food was very delicious.

Visited again for the first time in four years. Although it's a weekday, there seem to be quite a lot of customers. The atmosphere hasn't changed, but it looks like some renovations are underway. Although it's a little expensive (3,000 yen per hour), go to the private bath. The changing room is very spacious, the bathtub is also very large, and the atmosphere is great, so I think it's worth more than the price.

There is coffee service (tea, cold water) in the lobby, and I used it three times while sitting on the comfortable sofa. The room was 8 tatami mats long and not very large, but it was comfortable. Two keys and two yukata. The bath is a haniwa bath and there is no open-air bath. The indoor bath didn't have a screen door, so there was almost no ventilation, so it was very hot and humid during this hot season. On the way, I cooled off at the changing room where the air conditioner was roaring. Other customers were also shouting. I thought it would be a good idea to use a screen door or a ventilation fan to let the air pass through in the summer. Kawasemi-no-Yu the next morning was nice because it had an open-air bath. Dinner was a large venue meal. This time it wasn't Robatayaki, so I was able to eat slowly. The sashimi is made with Kawafugu (catfish), Sakuratai, and Ginko (a high-quality rainbow trout that can only be tasted in Gunma).The kamameshi is made with sweetfish, and the sukiyaki on the stand is unique in that it contains local chicken, pork, and beef. And it was delicious. Although I usually skip rice, I finished it all, and it was amazing that even though there were so many items, the portions were just right for my stomach. Also, the cold local sake (300cc, around 1200 yen) was delicious and perfect with the food. We also had breakfast at the same venue, which was very satisfying. The staff at the restaurant also have very good customer service.

We stayed in a special room on the top floor. Upon check-in, I was asked for proof of my 3rd vaccination. It didn't say in the e-mail that there was a discount if you brought it in, but just in case, I brought it in and it was a 5000 yen discount per person. I think the room was spacious, had a good view, and was clean. A little disappointing is that I didn't feel like using the room with a cypress bath that was smaller than I thought. However, I was satisfied with only the private bath and the normal large bath. The private bath can be booked in advance depending on the plan, and the customer next to me was full of time when I checked in, so I was disappointed. The dinner was as good as the rumors, and I was satisfied with dishes other than charcoal grill. The breakfast was voluminous and I was satisfied. As a result, there was a discount, but even without it, I think it was an inn with more quality than the price.
