The hotel would have been amazing however very expensive for a only one 4x6 window that look out on roof of other rooms windows for about 3 floors high. No sun light at all no sky line no city view as advertised just windows .. very disappointing for almost $300 a night

Great location downtown across from the Baird Center. The bed was comfy which I've come to expect from Marriott and they even had feather pillows - another plus. Nice bathroom and shower. Breakfast was good with multiple choices. That's where the pluses end! We had a conference to attend at 3 so we wanted to check in at 2; one hour before 'check in' technically begins. We were told our room was ready and she took our cc information, etc. but then we were told we would be charged $15 for early check in - seriously?! Don't tell me my room is ready and then charge me to use it! They offered to store our luggage but was afraid what that charge would be so we left it in our car. She did not like that we self parked right across the street either- in the same parking facility the valet uses. When we returned from our conference at 7:00 pm, our reserved king suite was no longer available and we would have to settle for 2 queen beds. In addition, the information the front desk person had taken earlier was no where to be found. Now the gentleman had trouble completing the reservation and had to start over several times. He finally gave us a queen suite which was the weirdest configuration I've ever seen. And there was no alarm clock, no lotion, and the TV resolution was terrible. I was told Marriott was tired of people leaving alarms set for the next people occupying the room so they no longer put them in rooms. (Really! The first thing I do in a hotel is check the alarm clock to make sure it isn't set!) Lotion is available but you have to ask for it at the front desk - but they don't tell you that until you check out! We will not be staying at this Springhill Suites again when in Milwaukee.

The room is nice, but parking is inconvenient and the charges are unreasonable. It is recommended to park in the parking lot next to it, which is cheaper!

Довольно уставший холодный отель. Сотрудники были не супер приветливы в ответах на вопросы, словно делают мне одолжение.

Went into my 1-night stay at SpringHill Suites Milwaukee Downtown with optimism given the great reviews, which is why I feel compelled to share my experience after having stayed there. When I arrived, Matt (I believe) at check-in completely ignored me standing there despite us being the only two humans in the lobby. There was also a young man sitting in an office to the side who briefly looked up from a phone and then back down again. I said "Excuse me?" a couple of times and on the third try, Matt looked up and said "Oh... you're very quiet...." We were not off to a great start. He then put me into the filthiest room I've ever stayed in in my life. Please see the attached photos. There were visible stains on everything that was fabric. The other surfaces all had stains that I was able to clean with a Clorox wipe which means the surface had simply not been wiped down. And there was a bangle or something left on the chair, which means it had not even been moved to clean the room... Yikes. The room Matt put me in also faced the parking garage in the back of the hotel which was brightly lit the entire night. The hotel was nowhere near capacity (there were no events on the day that I was there) so he made a choice to give me a horrible night's sleep but I didn't want to complain because he'd already made me feel so uncomfortable. I will say upon checkout there was a lovely woman who asked about my stay and I was honest with her and she seemed genuinely concerned so I hope the issues I mentioned were addressed. To all those reading all the amazing reviews regarding the service and the rooms... we must've been staying in different hotels.

I am leaving this with you, as I recognize Dave, the maintenance person at Springhill Suites Milwaukee Downtown. As a CPAP user, it can be tricky to figure out the best set up to make sure I’m doing what I’m supposed to do to improve my health. I had no way to attach my hose to the headboard… He happened to overhear a conversation I was having with your desk clerk. He was able to fashion a strong hook, allowing me to keep my hose out of the way as I sleep. I encourage you to send this recognition to him because he didn’t have to do what he did, but I’m glad he did! I posted about my experience on Facebook, in a CPAP user group I belong to. The majority of users were impressed…one asked if I was going to tip him! Dave has told me over and over again that he will not accept any tips into just need a review here. Lol. Sincerely, Rhonda Martin Gaines of Powell, Ohio

Front desk helpfulness best I have ever experienced in a hotel. Parker in particular went above and beyond to accommodate us with room choice and late check out. Whole staff was friendly.

This is a wonderful location in downtown Milwaukee. We stayed for our son's wedding and had family from all over the country in and out of the hotel for the entire weekend! Sach the vallet was extraordinary! She was kind to everyone and help to each of my aunts, uncles, cousins, parents. Each time we saw her she had a smile on her face. Thank Sach!!

The Good: Housekeeping was outstanding. Our room was immaculate and tidy. They did an excellent job throughout our stay. The elevators also worked flawlessly, which is surprisingly rare these days. The gentleman working at the front desk one evening was especially helpful when we decided to shorten our stay by one night. He handled the change quickly, efficiently, and without any hassle. The Bad: Check-in wasn't a great experience. We arrived around 1:00 p.m., as noted in the app, but our room wasn't ready. We went out for about two hours and returned, only to find it still wasn't available, even though guests who arrived after us were immediately given rooms. The parking fees are also excessive. Nearly $50 per night to park in Milwaukee is hard to justify, so we chose to park elsewhere. The breakfast area was the biggest disappointment. The floor in front of the buffet was sticky every morning during our three-night stay, making it seem as though it hadn't been properly cleaned. There were also more than ten small flies hovering around the bread station each day. While the food itself was fine, the cleanliness of the breakfast area left a poor impression and made the entire space feel less sanitary than it should have.
