Meadowview Cottages

My wife and I did our summer vacation on Prince Edward Island and rented a unit from Meadowview Cottages for a week. The cottage was cozy, clean, and comfortable. There is a laundry service on site. The facility is a short distance from Charlottetown and an easy drive to other attractions in Cavendish or Summerside. It is a fantastic jumping off point for anything that you want to do. We enjoyed going into North Rustico each evening to stroll along the boardwalk. Tony and his family were very gracious hosts and extremely helpful. (The only negative of the experience was a neighbor who was extremely rude to me on a personal basis; he also started a fire -- more of a conflagration -- and used most of the oxygen available on that part of the island, choking all of the guests.). Otherwise, I would highly recommend this place for a family or couples. It is very affordable and a wonderful place to spend a week. Just hope that "Firestarter" does not happen to visit the same week that you do!

Tony and his family were very nice. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. My only complaints would be that the cottage was very small, the beds were very hard and there was not much room in the kitchen. They cottage was neat and tidy.

Quiet country side location, friendly staff- centre of the island so not far from anywhere on PEI.
