We chose this hotel for a one night stay before attending a special family celebration. It was dark and raining for our arrival. It was a good job the sat nav was accurate as the hotel signage was not illuminated and would have been very easy to miss. The associated pub/restaurant is closed until March 2025, so we had to go elsewhere to obtain food. Our room was on the second floor but there is no lift. The receptionist was friendly and efficient. Sadly, the room initially allocated had a defective bathroom but we were promptly moved. Only 1 towel set was provided but again more were promptly supplied on request. The hotel was one of the most tired Premier Inns we have stayed in, but was quiet and comfortable.
